![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() MS suggested that I eat fiberous veggies, but for the life of me I can't figure out what exactly that means. I have to admit though I did not get to ask anyone at the gym I go to, but I did try looking it up =o) So Im not trying to ask a stupid question Thanks =o) IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() The only stupid question is the one you didn't ask. A fibrous veggie or carbohydrate is a plain old vegetable, i.e. broccoli, cauliflower, romaine, carrot, mushroom, asparagus - not starch or complex carb i.e. potatoe, sweet potatoe, corn. This is not scientific or text book definition and if I left something out or if my definition is lacking in some way - which I'm sure that it is ... someone please jump in! Help....I'm drowning! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Ok, I got to step in here an put on my Iowa farmers hat.... I LOVE CORN! Can corn, corn on the cob, you make it corn and I'll eat it! Now when you eat some good 'ol fresh corn it really fills you up nice. And I got to be rather blunt here, but there anit no way your body can break down and absorb all that corn. You ever NOT had to go a number 2 the next day???? Heck, I looks the same going in as it does comming out! So I figure you only get half as much as you eat.... Now that's a great food for cutt'en! Late Lobo p.s. Yes, I know, I am, at times, completely nuts.... But I always have a good time! IP: Logged |
