I am a personal trainer and I have a female friend who wants me to help start training her. Her overall goal is to tone up but she was hinting that she would like to start competing. I have pretty good knowledge as to what it takes for men to bulk up and get bigger, but she doesn't want to get huge she just wants to get tone and look good and possibly compete. What suggestions can you give me, I am open to anything you ladies have that will help me out. Training, diet, gear, for women would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for the knowledge. How much has she trained in the past? Get her in the gym first. Get her foundation built, see how far she can go naturally, then take that next step. The cuttest I ever got was all-natural through diet (low carbs, high, high protein) and training. Try supersetting two different body parts per workout for a while, doing 12 reps for 4 sets on each exercise. If she is just beginning, this will blast her in a few months. She has already been training by herself and with friends. She is approximately 18% BF. and weighs around 120 and is about 5'6". I was wondering what kind of sample diets or workouts you ladies have used in the past that would help me put something together for her. IP: Logged |
