You may have shin splints (a term used in the UK to describe a mulitude of shin problems caused by the impact of runnning). Try doing lower impact cardio (stairmaster, cycling, rowing) and see if this helps. Also - are your training shoes good enough for running? e.g. are the designed specifically for running?

If the problems persist - see a Dr.

Ditto on the shoes and the lower impact cardio. I never do cardio on a leg day other than a 10 min warm up and sometime a 10 min cool down. I've also taken to doing SOME type of leg work the next day. Maybe some light exercises and or some light cardio. And don't forget to do some stretching.

Take it easy, here. Do a lot of stretching before, during, and after your cardio. I wouldn't do much esp. if you've run/trained legs the same day. You might need a couple of days to rest. I've done the same thing and my legs hurt for several days. The stretching is important. Hope this helps.
