Sorry for posting in the women's board but no guys have answered my questions. I've received my xenadrine and I'm desperate to start using them!

"I'm taking the plunge and buying some xenadrine (its not cheap in the UK!). Has any one got any advice on the best way to use it? e.g. time of day, dosage, full or empty stomach, how long before training, take it seven days? or just training days? or just cardio days? How much time to allow between xenadrine and creatine.
All comments are gratefully received because this stuff is damn expensive over hear inthe UK!"

Hi StevieD....here's my experience w/ Xenadrine - Take two (2) capsules in the morning before eating breakfast or your morning workout if this is when you work out. Take two (2) more in mid-afternoon. Since I weigh well below the 150 lbs. as mentioned on the bottle, I started out lighter after the first week. The first couple of days, I thought I'd boost it taking it into my body, so I took just like the directions. Well, after the first two days, I was so WIRED. I couldn't even hardly go to sleep at night. On the third day, I cut back to only two/day. Usually, I took them in the morning when I got to work. (I don't work out until the evening.) Then, after taking it a week, I increase the dosage to 2 in the AM/2 in the PM. After about two weeks, I cut back to 2 in the AM. I didn't want my body to get too dependent on it. I really like it but at times, I give my body a rest from taking it. I think that's important. READ THE WARNING LABEL, ALSO TO MAKE SURE YOU DON'T HAVE HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE OR THE OTHER PROBLEMS MENTIONED. Hope this helps.

There are other brands of the same kind of stuff and may be less expensive.
Thermadrine by Sports Pharma
Ripped Fuel by Twin Lab
Hydroxycut by Muscle Tech

So far the hydroxycut seems to work best for me without the side effects, but you will still feel wired.

My experience with xenadrine has been wonderful-however, it depends on what you are wanting to achieve, my boyfriend was taking them and it made him too lean. Being a female, I loved them. I take two in the morning, and two before lunch. If you are sensitive to certain things like coffee,etc..
then you may want to start out with one in the a.m. and one before lunch. Let me know how they you like them!

Thanks all. I can get ripped fuel quite cheaply (by UK standards!) - $40 for 260. The xenadrine is expensive because it's just hitting the UK - $55ish for 120. Everyone seems to be raving about X so I decided to see what the hype was about! I've taken fat burners in the past and they didn't really do much for me (but they were cheap ones).

Do you only take xenadrine on the days you workout? How many days a week do people recommend? Are they good to take pre-workout for an energy boost?

I received them today but I going to wait until next week before I take them because I've got an important meeting on friday and I don't want to be too "wired" (can some explain this term please?)

Wired means you are just full of energy - and feeling the effects of what ever you have taken. May be shakes, nerviousness, mind racing, hard to concentrate.

From years of experience - dont take after about 3 in the afternoon or you may have problems sleeping.
One dose in the morning, and I take the other one an hour before a workout at 2 in the afternoon. The work outs got better for me and I was full of energy so I could work out longer.
The main benefit for Xenadrine as opposed to Ripped Fuel, was I had less side effects from Xenadrine, but they worked the same for me. BUt everyone is different.
As recomended in the post above, start with one, see what happens, then increase. I know it helps to cycle or use for a while then stop. I use in a 2 week cycle. 2 on - 2 off and take them every day I am "on".
I understand your concerns with meetings, as I have job where I have to attend imporntant meetings and wonder if I seem "wired", but I just remember I am using and try to not react but think things over first.

Hey Stevie just popped on this board to see what the posts are like since the training board is slow and noticed this. I just got done taking Xenandrine and got some good results. I agree with what everyone has said. regarding your "meeting" comment though, I'm a sales person and found that the days that I took Xenadrine I was more talkative with people and just felt like I expressed myself more energetically if that akes any sense. I wouldn't worry about taking them if you have a meeting unless it's onee of those where you sit in a room for hours listening to some guy ramble about stuff you don't even care about cuz then you'll probably get a little more antsy than usual. I also noticed that I had to put a little extra anti-persperant (sp?) on. Felt like I was perspiring more. Any more questions just ask. Oh and I took them Mon-Fri every week until the bottle ran out 2 pills in the morning before my cardio and 2 at around 2 pm. I lift at 5 but if I took them that late I couldn't sleep well. I only took them on week days because I heard that constant doses of ephedrine can be harmful so just thought I'd be better of cycling it that way. I have tried Xenadrine and my experience is that is does not work for me. I rather prefer Ripped Fuel to burn fat. Before competeting in bodybuilding last winter I used Xenadrine the first weeks of my cutting but when I thought it didn�t work as it should I turned to Ripped Fuel and that surely works. That makes you weird, hyperactive and not being able to sleep, therefore I only use it in cutting before competing. BUT IT WORKS.
