I have heard of some creams that women use when they are pregnant to prevent stretch marks but I haven't been able to find any. Do any of you know the name of some and where I can get some? Perhaps a website?

Thanks,
giantset

I read somewhere that pamela anderson slathered on cocoa butter all over her body when she was pregnant to prevent stretch marks and supposedly she swears by it. It can be found at any drugstore. Other than that I only know how to lighten stretch marks with Retin-A. Hope I helped

Hi giantset!
Well I recently had a baby and yes, cocoa butter works. Since I went from competition shape to being pregnant within a year, I gained ALOT of weight and NOT ONE STRETCH MARK. I used the kind that comes in the brown and white little jar(can't remember the name although I should...) but I used the actual butter kind I didn't use the lotion so try that out...hope that helps! Thanks, I'll give cocoa butter a try on my next cycle.

I used cocoa butter during my pregnancy. I bought a huge jar of it at Sally's Beauty Supply. I think it was Queen Helene. Anyways, I really packed on the pounds and ended up with only two small marks. I'd say it works. I greased up both morning and night.

i agree with the cocoa butter, as I just had a baby as well and it works. Another thing is keeping your body hydrated...drink a lot of water. At least thats what the obgyn docs say if you're pregnant. It worked for me

Two children later and no stretch marks. And all I can say is thank you God. I didn't use a thing and believe that it is a lot of genetics. So, if you don't have any yet then hopefully you won't get any.
