I'm 15 years old and i have lost 30lbs since November 99. It's nice that I've lost a lot of weight in my chest area and now that the fat is gone between my chest and armpit area, I still have this gross wad of skin! Plus, I can see the bones underneath my chest and it totally grosses me out. What's the best way to tone my upper body up without going to a gym, and how do I get that excess skin to go away? Hello Wheezie and welcome, How did you loose the 30Lbs? And what is your current body fat? Were you on a supervised weight reduction plan? Late Lobo IP: Logged |

You're not going to be able to do anything to actually tone up your skin, but the good thing is that you are 15 and your skin will slowly get tighter and tighter through the course of these next months, assuming you don't put on the weight again. Just my two cents IP: Logged |

I agree that since you are so young, the skin still holds a lot of elasticity. So you may see a difference sooner than those older than you. Also if you lost weight (depending if you lost fat or muscle) too quickly, your skin did not have the time to shrink with the rest of your body. That is why slow weight loss is better and healthier for a person. When you lose too much muscle, all you are left with is an empty sack. The best method in weight loss is to lose fat while at the same time gain muscle for the healthiest results. TG IP: Logged |
