I had a baby 2 years ago and my skin is still not tight on my stomach. I have heard it takes up to 3 years to recover elasticity. Any suggestions to help speed this up? Thanks - Brandy IP: Logged |

I have heard many doctors say that the only way to tighten up the excess skin is to have a procedure done called a tummy tuck. Of course all of these doctors were plastic surgeons and their motivation was more of the mighty dollar than anything. I personally have the same problem. As long as you are in the best shape you can possibly be, it will minimize the lower abdomen. Remember to do exercises that tighten the muscle, not make it larger. I try to steer clear of doing ab work with weights. I do not want to make these muscles bulky, but rather tight and defined. If you find any other solutions, please let us know.
