Dan Duchaine talked about yohimbe injected to address stubborn fat deposits. Has anyone tried this? ...any feedback? ------------------ IP: Logged |

I think Mrs. Texasgunns (sp?) was doing some work with this... Drop her a line, I'm sure she would love to help. She posts on the main board now and then so try a search there as well. Late Lobo IP: Logged |

I have not used Yohimbe as an injection. I did use the thiomucase injections and it reduces fat cells temporarily by dehydrating them, but once you put water on, it comes back. I am going to try a mixture of DMSO and yohimbe to topically apply. This will give some relief in certain areas. Of course if there is a large amount of fat to lose, the old fashioned way is the most effective: the combination of diet, cardio, and weight training. It takes so much longer, but the results last longer too. Texas Guns IP: Logged |

Hey Texas thanks for the reply. You seem to have some popularity here and I've been anxiously awaiting to here from you. I guess when it comes to the bodybuilding ring, excessive fat becomes fuzzy terminology. Depending on who's doing the test and which technique they are using, my %BF can fluctuate radically. Consequently, I don't have it done very often. I believe it to be under 20% and over 8%. The problem is that I have reached the point where my face is getting a bit thin. I'm 5'4" at 137# (give or take a few ounces): I've been lifting quite seriously for the last 3 years. I can see both heads on the biceps, three heads on the deltoid, and there's a definate destinction between my obliques and abdominus. My quads are sitting at 21" and my waist is at 29. The problem is that thin skin at the top translates to thick as one travels the gravity vector. And then there's those damned pockets: one on each hip, one right under the bellybutton, and on the back side of my upper arms. Please keep me in mind with your progress/experiment on the DMSO/Yohimbe. and just for fyi, received the following from another on this topic. I've used Yohimbe in conjunction with the ECA stack along with L-Tyrosine. Here's a guideline of how the "Thermogenic" combination was followed. I have helped only one competitior with site applications. I have no idea where you may find Yohimbe HCl now as I'm living elsewhere in the world from where I were when I helped these fitness competitiors in preparation for their comps. You could just as easily use Twin Labs "Yohimbine Fuel" Main ingredient for body recomposition is: Regular resistance training, cardiovascular work, nutrition and support! ------------------ IP: Logged |

Yes that information is very helpful!! Also keep in mind the way body fat burns on a woman is very different from men. While everthing starts from the head down. Since the hips, butt, and thighs carry the largest stores of fat, it is the last thing to go. Once the body has burned in all other areas it has no choice but to hit these areas. Once it does start coming off it will happen at a rapid pace. So whatever you do, don't give up. It seems to be the first place to gain and the last place to lose. Such is the curse of a woman. Also don't forget that for women who have had children, their lower abs are harder to hit. My abs are tight, but I seem to carry around this "kangaroo pouch" of excess skin after three children. Gross, I know but reality for me. Trying very hard to reduce as much as I can. Let me know how your progress goes!!! Texas Guns IP: Logged |

Mostly for myself, I found the following info on dmso and will share for anyone else in the same boat.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Introduction The fact remains that these products work to restore function in illnesses like arthritis and immune system disease, and they are very helpful in acute inflammatory pain syndromes.
