Hi. New to this board. Just wanted to say that I've had incredible strength (and mass) gains with the addition of just Creatine, Ephedra (half hour before workout) and Amino1000s (9 tablets per day.. 3 with each meal). I've eliminated high sugar content foods, work every set with maximum intensity (usually through pyramids). I also have added a small glass of red wine at night to help me get good sleep... This has done wonders. In the last six months, I have gone from 275 lb Smith squats to 450 lbs (at 8 reps). My bench is up from 185 to 245 lb (3 sets of 1) and deadlift from 355 lbs to 405 lbs! My leg press is also up significantly to 1,100 lbs at 6 reps. One key I've discovered revolves around adequate sleep. Stress is bad for muscle development. I don't know if this will work for you, but give it a try! Anyone else have any good diet/sleep/training improvements like this? -Jill IP: Logged |

Jill, if we ever run up a hill, YOUR carring ALL the water back down! Very impressive. And deadlifts too! Snif, snif, I think I'm so happy to hear your doing deads that I'm going to cry.... Now get on the REAL squat rack! Go look up my ramblings on the "Big Board". Search for White Death and WarLobo (be sure to cap the W and L). Hope you find it interesting Late Lobo IP: Logged |

I do use the power rack... Currently switching and mixing power rack squats, hack squats (3 plates per side), Smiths, and leg press. My legs have always been very strong and have developed quickly. My strength gains in the last six months have been nothing but phenomenal. I feel blessed as there is little reason for me to use steroids. I have no problem with other women using, I just feel there are many other variables to try before using. It's all pretty funny. My workout partner is male. A few months ago, another guy came up to him while I was hitting my 450 lb. deep reps on the Smith machine. He said to my partner, "no way. she must be on steroids." He said, "Yeah. No woman could be that strong naturally?" and he replied, "no way man" Later, we saw him on go down to parallel for a few reps at 225. My partner went back to him and said... "She's my partner and no she's not using, but maybe YOU should!" Needless to say, we were in stitches! Take it easy... Jill IP: Logged |
