Hello, I am new to this board. I am 5'5", 150 lbs, approx 25% fat. Yuuuch. Can someone see if this diet of mine is any good?
Meal 1: 1/2 cup oatmeal, eggwhite protein powder 40g with 1 tbls flax seed.

Meal 2: 1 tbls natural peanut butter, 2 pieces of ww bread.

Meal 3: eggwhite protein 40g, 1\2 cup strawberries, 1 tbls flax seed.

Meal 4: same as 3.

Meal 5: 40g chicken, 1 cup broccoli, 1 cup of other fibrous vegies.

I snack on celery and fat free cream cheese. I sometimes eat 3 eggs and 1 egg white in place of meal 1's protein shake.
I'm in the process of making the afternoon protein drinks just chicken, sweet potato and green beans.

I am trying to lose body fat as I gain strengh to start building muscle mass.

Thanks for any help or ideas. Tball

When something says "fat free" it's your first clue NOT to eat it.

Yeah, ditch the fat-free cream cheese. I would like to see you eat more veggies, lots more in fact. And get more protein into meal number 2. 3 eggs/1 egg white only adds up to maybe 20 grams protein, 20 grams fat, no carbs. Your first meal of the day is when you should be getting most of your carbs, so I think you should stick with the shake. For this reason it would also be better if you could eat some veggies instead of strawberries in meal number 4. Ummmm, and I assume you mean 40 grams of protein from chicken, not 40 grams of chicken? Other than that, it looks good to me.
