Anyone used this for acne treatment? If so, what were your opinions of it? I've gone thru a couple months worth of it and love it. Really helped when I was using the 19-Nor CRAP and got my skin cleared up from it. (I'll never use that stuff again, prhormones are a WASTE!) AJ    | ||

It's the best. About 6 months ago, my acne was out of control (19 year old male, what do you expect?  ). Mom saw the infomercial - countless times. We finally ordered the treatment.In 2 weeks the big red monsters were gone, two weeks later, the smaller red monsters were gone, after another month my face had almost completely recovered except for a few spots. At that point I stopped using it. A few weeks ago I started noticing a few growths... 2 weeks and now they're gone. I love the stuff and will order another pack as soon as this runs out in case of future emergencies. Highly recommended for anyone. Hi,it's me... How many mg. did you use per day and what brand was it? How soon did you start getting acne? I ask this because I have been using it for 3 days at the recommended dosage... my skin hasn't one blemish...yet. I'll have to see. Did your strength increase at all? While taking the "crap"?LOL And,how long were you taking it? Sorry for all the questions... I greatly appreciate your reply:-) | ||

Ana. I started using the 19-Nor again about 2 weeks ago because I wanted to keep something like that in my body because I didn't want to lose my gains from the Deca cycle I just finished. Well I noticed a few days ago that I was starting to break out on my chest (minor but for me, its not normal) and just a couple on my shoulders. Again, they're little pin sized zits, but they are there and I shouldn't get those because I shower with Anitbacterial soap twice a day. (oh thats another thing I forgot to tell you about going on the Deca, make sure you shower a couple times a day and really scrub with the Antibacterial soap (I use dial) and I also bought one of those scrub brushes so I could really reach my back too, bc like I said before I'm paranoid about any acne). So because I started seeing these break outs on my chest I'm once again off the 19-Nor. Before it made me get these knots under my skin. Its where oil gets trapped in the pores and forms a hard knot. Its sooo gross. Leaves scars, bc of course I pick at it to get them to go away. But I had gotten a couple, on an arm and one on my stomach. Really weird. I just think its crazy because I can take a steroid like Deca and get NO acne at fairly low dosages but as soon as I go back on an Over-the counter prohormone like 19-Nor, I break out. Thats why all these prohomones like the norandro's and andro's are so worthless, just use the real stuff and you're better off anyways. When are you starting your cycle Ana??? AJ | ||

I started using Proactive about 6 months ago and it's totally worth it. It is the best skin care I've ever used. It really kills acne even on sensitive, dry skin. And this is coming from someone with very dry skin. Not only does it keep most acne away, but it also fades scars from recent flare-ups very quickly. Because of this product I rarely wear makeup because I don't need it!  | ||

I liked it too though it didn't totally clear up my skin...I finally went to the Dr...my acne isn't cycle related. I stopped taking bc pills 2 yrs ago and ever since have had terrible skin. I like Neutrogena Body Wash for back/chest too. ------------------ | ||

Yeah, the Nutragena body wash dries up a good bit of the acne. It has saylacilic acid in it. I just ran out and had to get another bottle. They were out, so I had to get the Clean & Clear brand. Same ingredients. Should work fine. | ||

I've tried the proactive with not much luck. I had to get on antibiotics to get rid of acne. Does anyone know how long you can stay on them? I also use a differin gel which seems to help. I don't understand why i am getting acne now as an adult since when I was a teenager I NEVER had any problems! Has anyone tried dermalogica or murad? | ||

Is the differin a script?? I have been using Benzymycin gel at night for 3 mts and it has cleared up some but I still fight w/the acne...I never had acne growing up and after having children it has gotten worse..I have been considering going back to the dermatologist to get some Tetracycline pills..Anyone used those??? God, It drives me crazy when my face isnt clear! |
