Having a good breakfasts ladies?If your answer is yes or no it dosent matter cuz you could be having a better breakfast with ultragame's(ultragainz) recipe.lol.How...well how dose 52 grams of protein sound?well want more what about 80 grams of protein 660 calories 80 gams of carbs and only 2 grams of fat.Not bad uh,well here are the good stuff that you can be having for breakfast.And it only takes SECONDS or MINUETS to make, thats right.And if you you are looking for more protein or more carbs or cals just add a bigger bwol of cereal or more oatmeal,more fruit ,ect.Or just add a side of fruit or a whole grain bagel also you can have a bigger scoop of protein powder more egg whites or a a side of low fat turkey sausage.here it is ladies have a great breakfast and start your day off good. ****Mediterranean bagel sandwich: Combine about 1/4cup of softened fat-free or low-fat cream chesse,1/2 cup low-fat cottage chesse,diced tomatoes and,if you want basil and parsley.Scramble four or five egg whites and while they're cooking toast a large bagel-whole wheat is great.top the bagel with scrambled eggs then add top with canned roasted bell peppers....Calories:475,Protein 52grams,Carbs 60 grams,Fat 3 grams...great taste give it 8 stars out of 10 *****Banana-pineapple shake:Puree together 1/2 cup cold water,1/2cup pineapple juice,a banana,1/2 cups of pineapple chunks,2scoops of protein powder and 3 ice cubes in a blender and water if you want(if you want more protein or water just add it in).On the side have a 1/2cup of oatmeal(dry measure),sweetened to your liking. ******Not your ordinary,oatmeal and egg whites:Cook one cup of oats(dry measure),then mix in a scoop of protein powder,some reduced-fat peanut butter and a handful of raisins.(You can also use protein-enriched oatmeal, you can buy it at nutrition specialty stores)On the side have a egg or 2 hard-boiled eggs. Calories:630,Protein 40grams,Carbs90grams, Fat 12grams.. 7 stars out of 10 its good stuff give it a try, you might like it more then me...... ******Cereal and fruit:Fill a big bowl with high-protein cereal(like Protein Plus by Miracle Foods),skim milk and a diced apple.Have a protein shake to drink...Calories660,Protein 80grams,Carbs 80grams,Fat 2grams..Give it a 8.5 stars out of 10 its great.... ******Pig in a bodybuilding blanket:Cook low fat turkey sausage and wrap it up in a microwaveable low fat pancakes or waffles.You can use protein-enriched pancake mix if you have more time to cook.Calories:500grams,Protein40 grams,Carbs 40grams,Fat 20grams...never had it but give it a 7 stars i guess cuz of the way it sounds out of 10 stars.but try it might be good.... *******Cottage chesse,fruit,toast:Cottage chesse dosent SCREAM bodybuilding food BUT it has one big advantage:NO COOKING REQUIRED.It ready off the shelf and a half-cup has 14 grams of protein mix it here with frozen fruit for a better taste.Toast 2 slices of whole-wheat bread and spread with reduced fat natural peanut butter.Spoon 1/2 cup or so of low fat cottage cheese into a bowl and mix in frozen berries.Have a protein shake(made with water)to drink....Calories 620,Protein75grams,Carbs,50grams,Fat 13 grams.....9.5 stars out of 10 its grrrreat AND THATS THE BOTTOM LINE!!!!!!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

It truly doesn't stimulate my tastebuds, but to each their own. I don't have a sweet tooth, so anything with fruit in it turns me off. I live in a country where I can't get the ingredients for the other 2 recipes (and I don't eat meat anyway). Val, I'm guessing ultragainz is a big mofo male who weighs twice as much as you. Either that or he's eating to BECOME a big MOFO. For most of us chicks I would recommend kinda halving these recipes. Ah, come on sheriff Lobo, if a gal can't poke a bit of fun at the guys on a women's board, then where else can she go? (Answer: Home to her partner). Now this protein question is seemingly unsolveable. I mean, first of all common sense tells me that a 200 lb male should be able to digest around twice as much protein as 100 lb female, all other things being equal. But all things are not equal in this world. For one thing, have you noticed a gender difference between men and women?! Most studies that have been done are on 'normal' males. This tells us nothing about what would happen if you put that same person on a year long high protein diet. Again, common sense tells me that the body should adapt to this new diet. If it doesn't it could find itself with a calorie deficiency. We've seen evidence of people on an Atkins style diet that are clearly getting more calories than would be predicted from some arbitrary figure of protein absorption, such as 30grams per meal. If this were true, Atkiners would be fading away at an even greater rate than they already do! So all that waffling (due to my aged and decrepit brain) means that there is no hard and fast rule. I think it's better to set what your minimum intake of protein should be at each meal, and make sure to reach that. Unless you're dieting, don't stress about eating more, even MUCH more than that amount. The bacteria in your lower gut will let you know (with a distinctive odor!) if lots of your protein is getting past your small intestine. I guess you could call this a 'sniff test' for excess protein consumption? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

well yeah ita a lot but i forgot to add that you wnat less of soemthing just add less of the stuff so there well be less cals pro fats and carbs.and iam over 240 right know and 5 fett 9 i think iam a BIG MOFO lol around 6% bodyfat...have fun with the ultrabeakfast. Not a real scientific answer, but I have a friend who is a doctor, and he said one easy way to find out if your intaking to much protein. You ready, I tried it, to see how much protein it would take for it to happen. I was a bouncer in college at the time, 220lbs 6' and was lifting with 4 sets of 6 to bulk,(so I obviously was using a lot of protein to rebuild muscles). Even then it only took about 250g of protein in a couple of days for the fountain to flow yellow. He also said that if it has no color at all, you dont have enough protein to adequately rebuild the muscles you worked that day. Consequently, If you take some time off to I dont know, do whatever, Your protein intake should go down to match activity Other wise its wasted.

Slither - Not sure what your Doc is talking about there...looking at your urine color is VERY misleading. My urine is almost always clear except first thing in the morning b/c of all the water I drink...I take in 200+ g protein ED plus vits/mins...that alone should be enought to keep my urine bright according to your Docs theory but its not b/c I'm flushing my system with so much water. My husband on the other hand eats mostly carbs and NO protein, NO vits/mins and his urine is nearly orange. He drinks very little water. And believe me my muscles have grown tremendously so I KNOW I'm getting enough protein despite my urine being clear. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Formula, I WISH the body could only digest 50 grams at a time. Imagine how much easier it would be to diet if you could eat all the protein you want and only absorb the first 200 calories of it! Hunger as we know it would no longer exist. I think that figure (which varies from 30-60 grams) was referring to the amount of protein that your body could assimilate AS PROTEIN in one meal. Anything above this amount (which will vary for everyone) will still get absorbed but may get converted to carbs and eventually fat if it's in excess of your calorie needs. In essence, if your 'bulking' there's no harm in taking in too much protein as long as you drink plenty of water. It's merely an expensive and inefficient way to get extra calories. Slither, this doc of yours is incorrect. The color of your urine is dependant on how much water you take in. If it's yellow, you're not drinking enough water. Of course, the more protein you eat, the more water you need to take in to keep your kidneys healthy and flushing clear. And it's not vit C that makes it go yellow, it's the B vitamins. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Well your all wrong on the yellow piss. The reason you see yellow is due to the reflection of the yellow specturm of light off the piss, of course this assumes your not pissing in the dark. In which case your piss hase no color no matter how much water, protein or vitamins you take in. :P Slither, your just having a Hell of a time on every subject arnt yahs?
