As you may, or may not have noticed, I've not posted on the Women's board for some four or five days.

I was just kicking back, seeing how things would go without any input for the 'ol Wolf.

Overall, you seem to be doing a fine job of helping one another and supporting the newer folks. A tad slow here and there, but every question has gotten at least one response. I do realize most of us only stop by, at best, once a day....and we are NOT the A. board!

First comment: I get the feeling that some of you might think that e-mailing a monitor or well known vet is a taboo thing. That asking for assistance in a more private manner is some how intruding.... My 02 on the sitch is that if you e-mail me with an improper question, in no way will I take offence. I might tell you buzz off and it's none of your business. But more often I will answer you in the best possible way. Now I might I tell you to post the question on the board... cause we got some damn good folks that can help. (hell, I don't think I've EVER told someone to take a hike.... er, any Lady that is.. ) Or I'll answer it straight away.

Second comment: We, the monitors, are also here to help you not get scammed. Always check with us about who your going to send your hard earned money to... we COULD know something you don't - might even point you in the right direction

Third comment: At some point Ladies and Germs, you will have to drop the numbers game. Yes, numbers are a great way to track ones progress. Yes, it does help to keep a good record of lifts, body fat, weight, inches, pounds, reps, sets, days on, days off.... and much, much more. BUT at some point, you MUST define your success by appearance. That is the bottom line... unless your trying to set lifting records. And as far as I know, we do not have anyone that fits that bill. Body building, is by shear definition, APPEARANCE. How one LOOKS. Not how strong you are. Fitness does have some strength moves. But in the over all scoring, most folks complete these with ease. And again, we are left with APPEARANCE.

Do not wallow in a mind pit if your over 14% body fat. Do not binge if you cannot fit into a size 3.025 - or whatever. Do not FEEL your numbers. THINK your APPEARANCE. Use your MIND to determine if your body is how you want it to look. From this, form a plan of attack. And use the camera, get honest second opinions. This board is a great place to get these! "The worst case of blindness I have ever seen was myself looking into a mirror." Lobo, 1998

Fourth: Do not let ANY preconceived misconceptions influence who you are trying to be or who you are. Do not let society warp your mind to its will. The masses are asses! Let them drown the their self indulgent, ignorant, and mindless pits. Silently laugh in their presence. Be confident in your knowledge of the truth of IRON!

I was wondering when you where going to chime in Lobo. Well said. I think we all basically where going the same direction on some of the recent threads.

Ladies he is SO RIGHT about pictures!!! Take them, learn how to pose some...they really really help. I never would have realized how far I've come if I hadn't started taking pics last year. They have kept me sane through my attempt at bulking and feeling like a cow. Take them!! I use a tripod at home with an auto camera. (Too embarrased to ask hubby to take them - but I do show them to him)

i agree 100% warlobo with your comments stated above. when i train woman, and men i speak of these things often. you people are your own person, so definetly do not let negative forces affect you. turn that negativety into positive energy! if someone tells you can't do something, laugh in there face and prove them wrong!
