Anyone know if it is ok to do a cycle while on birth control? I am going to start my cycle in the next few weeks, but needed to make sure that nothing bad will happen if I combine the two. I would rather be safe then sorry and end up with a bun in the oven.... I read a post that said it should be ok, but I wanted some women to post and tell me if they have had any personal experiences. I'm no expert...I know I've read here that it shouldn't interfere but you are adding hormones on top of hormones...the bc creates more estrogen (or progesterone I forget which) and you are adding in a/s to increase test - possibly interfering with estrogen production? ...I would use barrier methods just to be sure. Unless of course any of the fine ladies that have experience with this know otherwise  | ||

I did a 8 week cycle of anavar and have been on ortho tri cyclen for years. I got a period around 3 weeks into the cycle and then missed a period during the cycle. I came off around 5 weeks ago and was supposed to get another peiod last week and again missed it. Went to get a clear blue easy that turned up negative. I would definately use another method of birth control. You never know. I just got enough anavar for a 10 week cycle and can get winny tabs. tell me more about the cycle you are planning to go on. I got great results with just the anavar and would like to add something to the mix. | ||

As most of you know, this is one of those issues that gets my shorts in a knot. NEVER rely on hormonal contraception when you are on a cycle. Yeah I know some of you have never had a problem, but if you happen to be the one that does, then it's the child that may wind up being a circus freak and that's not cool. Imagine being a hermaphrodite in junior high school; think you had problems growing up, shit...... F1 | ||

Thanks for all the advice. I am planning on a 8-10 week cycle of the Anavar and possibly a 8 week winny cycle at the end. I have previously done a primo cycle and a winny cycle, which was awesome. I have heard so many women say they love anavar b/c their results and there are no sides. The winny cut me up good, but I kept getting these feelings like I had a bladder infection when I really didn't. Plus for a while I started to loose my voice and had to lower the dosage. I know I will still need to use some other type of protection, but the entire reason I am on the pill is because all other types of protection are extremly uncomfortable for me. Don't want to get into it. Anyway, any other thoughts are welcome on this subject. Thanks for all the help. ...dr | ||

Just out of curiosity, DirtyRatt, what were your dosages of winny? I am going to start my fiance on a winny cycle soon, and i am going to start her at 12.5mg EOD. Then i will gradually up the dose until she is taking 25mg EOD, maybe every day. ------------------ | ||

browndog1...aren't you supposed to be working????? On the winny cycle I started with 1/4cc EOD, went up to 1/2cc EOD around week 4, then back down to 1/4cc EOD because my voice was changing. Keep in mind I drank the winny, not injected it. Mixed it with a little fruit punch. So easy!!! ...dr | ||

Dr - Are you starting with the anavar and then continuing with the winny or are you going to overlap them? Just curious - I was going to start with winny first for 4 weeks overlap for 4 weeks and then end with anavar for 4 weeks. Have you ever taken winny tabs? What dosage ? | ||

Never taken the winny tabs before. I drank the winny from the amps instead of injecting. I plan on starting with the anavar and if I feel I want to do the winny, then add it at the end. I have never done anavar before and if I am happy with the results from that alone I would rather not mess with the winstrol. I had a lot of sides that were not all that pleasant. Major hair growth, swollen clit, voice, etc... I started the winny at 1/4cc EOD from a 50mg amp (so 12.5mg), then uped it to 1/2cc EOD around week 4, and went back down to 1/4cc EOD when I noticed my voice was changing and I had a sudden feeling of a bladder infection, which I never had! I have been away from the board for a while....is this your first cycle? I really liked primo too.
