Does anyone have any suggestions for a good workout video for those days that I can't make it into the gym? The weather out here in Chicago is pretty crazy lately, and sometimes I get stuck in the house. I'm looking for a good cardio workout. Thanks ------------------ | ||

I used to workout at home - I've got tons. Karen Voight has a good one called Strong and Smooth moves - 25 m cardio, 25 m strength training. Gin Miller (reebok) videos are good for step/aerobics. Go to Collagevideo.com. They have 100's that are rated and you can see clips etc. | ||

Does no one like Tae-Bo. The first time I did the advanced, I swear it kicked my butt. I thought I was pretty in shape and I had to keep stopping the tape!!!! The beginner version is not worth the time or money except maybe to learn the moves. You burn lots of calories and I saw more body sculpting effects from it than just treadmill or bike alone. Oh yes - forgot about Tae Bo - have those too. The advanced is good - forget the rest. But if you've never done any kick boxing or whatnot - you should get the basic just so you get the form down. No injuries allowed here! | ||

There is a series of videos called "The Firm". They use a combination of weights and aerobic moves. Sorta like Body Pump. There are a few body part specific ones, which are a waste of time quite frankly. If I'm not mistaken they are available for rent and sale at your local Blockbuster. Stay away from videos like, "Riding Miss Daisy", "American Booty", and "In and Out of Africa". Although there is physical 'activity' depicted, it's probably not what you're after.LOL WW |
