Anyone here have them? My girlfriend want to get them. What are your thoughts? thanks
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 168 |
E- I have had 'em for almost a year, and I don't regret anything other than I wish I would have gone bigger. I think your girlfriend should really research it and talk to people before she even goes to a consultation with the doc. I visited with several docs before deciding. It's definately a decision only she should make. ------------------

Yes, mine are alos bought and paid for. Had them for about 3 years now. I am happy, hubby is happy, all is right in the world. Although, I think FC's are nicer. Why do we always want what we don't have? Hhhhhhmmmmmm, when it't time for a touch-up I'll have to go talk to her doc. How old is your girl? She should really think about it and get ALL THE FACTS. ------------------

Serious question how has it changed your sex life. Not because he pays attention but how you feel.

I've had mine for 3 years and I love them. Make sure your girlfriend speaks to a lot of other girls with them, and learns all the facts before she has 2 foriegn objects inserted into her body. And don't go too big! It's really awful to see girls with these big old knockers that don't fit their body. It looks terrible! (Although I am sure many men would disagree....)

My mother has had hers for years now, and she said that she wouldnt give anything for them. I have been seriously considering getting them. I was wondering though, a ballpark figure on what you all spent to have it done. I am single on a teacher's salary, which isn't much. I am certainly not going to skimp on the cost though. But I would like to know what I would be getting myself into if I did decide on getting them.

Texasamm's Gurl- I say, if you really, truly want them, get them...cause I feel a lot more feminine since I got "the twins", as before I was a small B and felt very out of proportion. I think mine rang up to $4750...including the anestesia and all the other good stuff... definately worth it, just make sure you RESEARCH and decide beforehand how big you want to go...

I have had mine 11 years. Yes they are silicone, no there have been no leaks and they look very good! But I got very very small ones and had quite a bit of breast tissue on top of them. They still don't sag! They were free. I prefer over the muscle due to working with the a plastic surg. and seeing sooo many woman who had the under method and their implants ruptered and leaked much faster than the over the muscle ones. But I think most of the gals here like the under the muscle method. Mine look very real if any of the gals want to see them I don't mind showing them. Email of course! Always go bigger (about 100-150 cc) than you think you want them because when its over and done with and the swelling goes down, you'll wish they were bigger. Over the pec silicones are the best way to go in my opinion. Make sure they are big enough to cover the pec otherwise they'll look like two baseballs with nipples sitting on top your pecs where the breasts should be, very unnatural looking. F1

I agree with F1 over the muscle if done right are much more appealing to me. But I also didn't realize until recently a lot a women want that hard, round, baseball look. So to each her own! ps No one is getting boob picts except the girls I KNOW so stop emailing me!lol [This message has been edited by tnheygirl (edited December 28, 2000).]

I need to get my fiance on this board! She wants a boob job so bad, but she cannot stand pain. She is just afraid that it will be terrible ya know. I will see if i can get her on here to post tonight. Shes a tiny little girl.....bout 100 pounds, 5'3". Shes a small B right now, and she wants to jump up to a large C. ------------------
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 175 |
If you want to tell her that its NOT painful, well I wont b/c It hurt like hell! I wanted to punch the nurse for lying to me when I went back...LOL...and I will have to disagree with the majority - bigger is not always better..they are a pain sometimes, such as jogging, buying bras,etc..so I recommend getting a size you can live with!! I think Timea Mor.(whatever her last is) are too big..just my opinion though...
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 455 |
Thanks luv. Yeah i need to just get her on here to talk to some of you. I know that the pain is not going to be the funnest of things, but do you feel that it was worth suffering through that? ------------------
Amateur Bodybuilder Posts: 175 |
Well sure the pain is worth the end result, as with most things...If she has O.K. boobies now, you might want to wait until after she has kids before you consider getting implants (just a suggestion)..Ive had mine 5 years..then I had a baby, didnt hurt them too much, but I did get some stretch marks b/c they got ENOURMOUSLY HUGE!!! I had to get a bra specially made (size I- im NOT joking) Now they look more natural...

don't have them, don't want them. Down to a 34A and I don't give a damn....WAS a 34B, wore a backless dress for our Christmas party, go those sticky thingys in what I thought was my size and swam in them all night! I can't think of anything worse than a guy staring at my boobs so the smaller the better in my honest opinion. Obviously I am the minority though.

Kat this is no flame or disrespect towards you, but i got a funny picture in my head when i read your post. Picture a guy saying the opposite thing you said. "Well, i am happy with a 3 inch penis. Yeah, i know its not average size, but i just wouldnt want a larger one. 3 inches is way plenty for me!" That would be the funniest thing in the world! But seriously, i do understand i guess, on where you are coming from. ------------------
Elite Bodybuilder Posts: 666 |
LOL...that is pretty damn funny. However, girls don't go around talking to mens penis's all day.
Pro Bodybuilder Posts: 455 |
Yeah, Kat, you are right about that! ------------------

I'm 5'3" and went from an A/barely B to a C (of course, there were a coupla youngins in between the transition, hehe).
And YES, IT HURT LIKE A MOFO!!! I even regretted it for the first couple of days because the pain was so intense. But any misgivings I had IMMEDIATELY left me the first time I went clothes shopping. If I had to do it again - I would in a heartbeat. And as for guys staring. There has only been one jackass who dared to actually talk to my breasts. So I told him to take a picture because it would last longer. He ran away and I have not seen him but a handfull of times since and he always runs away when he sees me - STUPID BASTARD! ------------------

BOOBS, BOOBS, BOOBS!!!!!!!!!!! I want BIG BOOBS! Okay, I"m becoming obsessed. Can't help it, once I really started looking at my tiny boobies (they don't qualify to be called boobs), I can't get the desire for implants out of my head. Enough ranting about it today. (I have PMS, sorry)

Sassy ck your email! I call my 6 year olds "dots" and she asked me when she would have more "dottage" I agree with Kat. As good as I think mine look for being 11 years old I wish I never got them. I am short and just 36c's make me look heavier and shorter than the girls my size who don't have bigguns! I guess it's my age, I just don't feel they are that important anymore. Just don't do like many and get too big for your body! It's not a deal where you should "get the most for your money" [This message has been edited by tnheygirl (edited December 28, 2000).]

I was just talking to my mom about this..she's a Breast cancer survivor and I was asking about what is on the cutting edge in terms of reconstruction because fora lot of these women the chest wall is really damaged due to radiation and the last thing they want to do is put anything foreign in an area where there has been a problem so ...what they are doing...how cool is this is liposuction in those problem areas and then putting it into the reconstructed breast area!!! Everything is natural so you don't get that weird orange in the end of a sock look or boobs that keep standing when your not effect.... I asked my mom if they're accepting donations..she said she didn't think but I'm gonna volunteer anyway.....

Good Idea Kaizen I have heard of that but I think their having some probs 1. because fat is not a smooth substance it's hard to redistribute fat that's been torn away from one place and pushed back into another without looking lumpy. But yes I will give my fat to anyone who would like to have it! On a side note last year my mom was in the Baxter breast implant settlement and pretty much just threw her name in the hat with everyone else and to her surprise she got a bonified ck in the mail for 94,000 and that was after the lawyers fee! I agree with Kat. I have very small breasts and they have gotten smaller since I started working out seriously. When I was younger I wanted to get a boob job and since I cant make up my mind Ive decided NOT to have them done. I guess as you get older it just isnt as important, whenever I need to fill out a dress or blouse I wear those soft bra fill-ins and that does the trick. But again we are a minority. This is definitely a very personal decision that one must make on their own. ------------------

Got em , love em. I agree with buffblond. Interview several physicians, ask about the various options in sizes and shapes as there are several. After several interviews with various physicians , you will know who is the right one for you-- it will just feel right. I interviewed 4 physicians. I had 5 scheduled, Number 4 was the one. Ask to see pictures of their previous work. I have had 2 sets of implants placed. Had nothing but "nipples" especially at competition time. The first set I got were not big enough. @350cc. This is all my skin would take -- or my doctor could not have sown me up. The second set was @650cc. They are about right. In addition, get the size that you feel is right for you. There is a formula/measurements that the physician can make to determine what size is "proportionate." FYI, you always know that you are going to get pressure from the men to get the bigger size. These implants will be with you for a long time. Men won't. Please be aware of potential complications of surgery. You may loose some breast sensation " numbness" , if you get real lean you will probably have rippling (depending on the type and placement of your implant-- above or below the muscle). Capsular contracture is also a possible complication. This is basically when scar tissue developes around the implant and forms a capsule making your implant "distorted" and sometimes painful. This is found mostly in silicone implants. Read your consent form for surgery. Ask any and all questions about that consent form. Research about breast implants before you go to the doctor so you will know what to ask. Be an INFORMED patient. Nothing irks me more that someone having implants done . . . they have a possible complication. . . and they say " I did not know ." Most of the time the risk was on their consent form-- they just did not read it or ask. Please take care of your implants after your surgery. Follow your physicans instructions to a tee-- do not slack on this. You may need some help for a day or two after surgery to help you reach for things. If you run, do aerobic exercise, or anything that would cause .. how shall I say this . . your boobs to flop around . . please get good --and I mean good --support bra's. An occassional braless night will not make a difference. Please be aware that without the proper care they will fall. By the way, there has not been any reasearch to show that breast implants have caused all those connective tissue disease's that the claims state. Women are more prone to have connective tissue diseases for some reason. Currently, the FDA will not announce--- or denounce that they goofed up -- their determination that breast implants are safe till evidence shows how long the implants should last. Currently, the trends are that the breast implants should last about 12 years before they "wear out". So keep in mind -- do not know how old you are-- they will probably need replaced 10-12 years. One last thing-- do not , do not , do not get a mammogram. Your implant will be history. Screening for breast cancer can be done via ultrasound. Happy interviewing

I have been researching this for a long time. www.implantinfo.com That is the most informative site I have found. Has TONS of pictures of before and after. Right now I am a small "b" and would like to go up to a "d". Bigdog and I were playing around one night. He filled up two ziploc bags with 500ccs dried oatmeal in each.....he LOVED them....I'm thinking about 400ccs myself...lol! Considering going out of state for mine. One of the docs has made some very beautiful changes..... I can't wait...just getting the money situation figured out right now....hopefully after we get the house sold.......... ------------------ |
