Hey there,
Well I'm sure you all will be wondering what the hell I'm doing here asking a male related training question, but that is easily answered. You ladies have the finest part of this whole board. I started reading your board when it was first started, because my fiancee' had some questions I could not answer. I have since realized that you have some of the most intelligent moderators and are much more business oriented than is the male board. I feel more comfortable asking questions here, than even there. I feel like such a girl now! anyway. Perhaps Lobo will be my only hope on the gear aspect of things, but you ladies certainly know more about nutrition than I do.

here's my dilema. It isn't so much related to gear as to diet I think. I started out with 1200mgs test and 400mgs Deca. I started getting some mild symtoms of gyno that even proviron and clomid weren't taking care of, so I backed off to 800 and 400 respectively.

I am also using 2 shots of 10iu insulin one after I lift and one in the morning.

The problem is this. I've gained 35lbs in 5 weeks. I have NO subcutaneous water retention. The clomid and proviron HAVE stopped that. Most of the gain can be attributed to glutamine and creatine along with the slin.

I haven't made any progress in size since then. It's now the beginning of week 8. I'm hoping I was just caught in a lull between the slin and test, but I don't know for sure.

My stats:
23,Male,6'4",305lbs,15%bodyfat

My cycle was planned for 4 months, but I think I'll extend it out to 6 now that I'm not using as much test.

I've been trying to eat 450grams of protien and 4000 cals a day. Should I be trying to get more than that?

Can I increase my insulin and creatine uptake?

I've already switched my training. Doing every body part 2 times a week now. NO cardio, except sex anyway. hehehehe I don't think I am over training, but I could be. I'm using super sets right now. Mon tues thurs fri. I get plenty of sleep and drink a lot of water too

My question lobo and to anyone else who can help is this:

What changes do I need to make to continue gaining?

If you need any more information. Please don't hesitate to ask via e-mial or on the boards. Thank you to all that reply, and ladies, keep up the good work. You are truly a great example of how discussion boards should be maintained. Great work moderators.

I'd still train each bodypart only once a week and rotate light/heavy, or every 5 days and light/heavy. I really think 2x per week is too much, with or without AAS.

A colleague of mine dropped his test from 1000 mg/wk to 600 mg/wk recently, made some adjustments in his training (i.e., backed off the frequency of the heavy training) and after a short transition period (lost some weight that I think was mostly water) is now making good gains again on a lower dose.

Everyone is so paranoid of training light and I honestly believe that is what holds so many back. Not enough recovery.

Should I make any changes in my diet?

Possibly increase my insulin to 15ius/2x day?
Or maybe 10ius/3x day?

Am I getting enough calories?
I don't do much outside the gym so I didn't think I need too many more than 4,000, but then again I am rather big.

Thanks for your reply
It's greatly appreicieated.

I am quite sure Lobo is a man. I've spoken with him before.

But even if he was a woman, I'd still ask his advice.

No disruption what-so-ever! And, thanks for the great comments. Yes, we do have some top notch folks - Women AND Men

35 lbs. is a solid gain out of the gate. And most would regard this as a very successful cycle. I think F1 has a good point, you may be over training. While at the same time, you notched back your test dose to compound the problem. And 4000 cals.... this might be a tad light for a big ol boy such as yourself trying to gain. But I can also understand your sitch with not being active all day. Im in the same boat and it can be very hard to figure. Try to get an idea of your day to day caloric needs and then go from there. I was missing the boat big time because I too thought that I did not need as much food because I was sitting on my ass most of the day.

For the gyno, I guess your a bit on the touchy side. All I can suggest is armidex. Yes it is expensive, but so is surgery. Ive not used this as yet. Been good to go with up to 1g of test/wk, 50mg of dbol/day, and 400 mg of deca/wk. But I do use clomid eod and there for a second I did take some nolva.

A question I have, has your strength been steadily increasing despite your slow down in weight gain?

Well I tell you what jagoff.

I didn't get as fucking big as I am by doing 6 week cycles. When you are repping 315lbs for 10 on bench and 535 for ten on squats, maybe I'll take your shitty advice.

Until then, if you don't have something nice to say. Don't open your stupid ass mouth!

As for strength gains, yes, they've been steadily increasing despite the slowing in wieght.

I've increased my cals and I'm up to 310 already.

As for the gyno, I'm not too worried about it if I can make good gains on less gear.

Thanks again everyone, except for Ubermass of course...DICK!

there was no tension until somebody decided to put it there.

Now it's either got to run its course or the thread will be locked down.

Anybody who can read can see who started the shit.

What a child.

I'm with the others on this one. I find that less is often more from a training perspective. How long has it been since you changed your workout? I also think for your size 4000 cal might not be enough for gaining. Also look at your vitimin/mineral consumption. If we're missing some of these important items, our utilization of food is not as efficient. You have made tremendous gains thus far. Perhaps a cycle break is in order? MHO

You have no idea how weird it is to read a thread when one post has been deleted...LOL...I thought bigdog was talking to Lobo and was REALLY confused there for a minute!!

Anyway...I'm in the mindset you should be taking in more quality cals too...

I can see how that could be confusing!

Sorry about my little tirade, just don't like getting called out over the computer. anyway!

I eat healthily and take two multi vitamins a day.

I will back the training down to every body part once per week, and eat more.

I try to drastically change my workout every month or 6 weeks, just made that change last week.

As far as a cycle break, I've only been on for 7 weeks and am accostomed to 12. Was going for 16 this time. Maybe longer though.
Yes, long, I know, but such are the sacrifices I make.

I am planning on building more mass until late march, then going on a cutting cycle immedetaly following this one so I'll be bigger and more cut for summer. I should easily be as big and as defined as Goldberg by then. I'm already about as big, just need to get rid of my beer belly!

Thanks again for the help.

Tension? What tension.... I don't see any tension

IF your strengh is continuing to increase, you've backed off a tad on the workout schedual, and food is in line, then just keep on keeping on.

You might want to take a gander at my posts on vitamins and mineral in the "Killer Posts" thread. And the Sugar post is also a must read, just in case you might be drinking Gadorate.
