Hey all, I cannot believe how word travels! Especially when I don't even know how you all knew? You people are so sweet and it does mean so much to me that people I have never had the pleasure of meeting in person can be so kind. Well, Sunday morning I felt very bad and lethargic, by that afternoon my entire body was broke out in pinpoint fire engine red dots and I was running a 103.4 fever and rising. Brutus took me to the hospital and after several tests it was determined I had scarlet fever. I was not aware Scarlet Fever was still a problem but apparently it is and is still quite contagious. I got home today after my temp went down and my skin is itching terribly. They say it will all peel off from my high temp and I may lose a little hair. The strange thing is I actually had Scarlet Fever when I was 15 years old. At that time it was hardly even heard of. I am very tired and they are watching my Lupus for any strange flare ups. Other than the above mentioned I am just very glad to be home. You people are great and since I am somewhat down it makes me feel better inside to know I was in your prayers. Glad to hear you're okay! Hospitals are not fun are they? Keep your attitude positive and you can make up for any losses quickly as soon as you get better. Come back even stronger than before! | ||
