Okay, I don't have a professional photographer and it's not ready for the stage, but they're out on my site for anyone who wants to see. http://communities.msn.com/greywolfslair

I showed your pics to my hubby this AM and he only has one word: "WOW!"

You've made remarkable progress. And your photos are VERY INSPIRATIONAL. Hell, I think I will print them out and show them to my bitchsters-in-law and ask them what their excuse is. hehe

KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

Jaye Lynn you look great! your arms look amazing. You look like you build muscle easily. What made you do your first cycle? Did you want to get bigger, leaner or both? Also are you thinking about competing (you should)???

Thanks y'all. I was looking at those pics and found myself thinking that extra 14# isn't all that big: maybe I could put on another ....few. It's mostly sitting in my lats and legs for sure.

I decided to do my first cycle because I wasn't satisfied with the progress I'd made between EAS and 'now'. I definitely yearn for size; and with my genetic predisposition to gain and retain fat around my hips, cutting is a serious mindset. My beef is learning to make it come off the ass instead of the face. ...well, sparing the boobs would be nice too but didn't really pan out.

The 'odd couple' is just a kind tag on my physiological hurdle. I have a club right foot. The most visible symptom is the atrophied right calf. What I spared y'all is the set of back shots in the bathing suite top. Had I shared those as well, you'd have seen the effects on my spine. Without shoes, it's quite curved since the right leg is 3/4" shorter than the left.

Bodybuilding has given me my life back in more ways that I can possibly explain. By the age of 15 I could hardly walk: by the age of 18 I was suffering from chronic back pain (like no sleep at nights back pain): by the age of 30, all the rest of my joints were falling apart and there was only so much I could do for fun and entertainment. I had a trainer land me in physical therapy and consequently, it took me a few years to get myself on the right track. Now when I say that I hurt all the time, it's a beautiful hurt.

I don't believe that I could ever really compete, but on the same note I want to be visible. I refuse to do anything like put implants in that right leg 'cause I want other people (especially parents with young kids that have 1 or maybe both feet club) can see that you don't have to resign yourself to the life prescribed by the medical community. In all my athletic adventures, (e that cycling, hockey, hiking, etc) I have only once been in the presence of another person with a club foot. I'd like to see that change. ...I'd like to help make that change.

Jayelynn,

You rock!
You can and will make a difference no doubt! i grew up with a dad in a wheel chair who proved to people that just because his legs didn't work didn't mean his mind and his heart didn't...he became a lawyer and made them make the courthouse accessible 25 years ago so he could practice law... Jayelynn you are already a role model to your partner and your daughter to teh women on this board and the freinds, family and co-workers in your life... Do a show. Be proud of who you are...You may not win a trophy for perfect symmetry but the prize will be so much larger and given to both you and those in attendance... Pride in yourself and your abilities in your hardwork and dedication... Education of those who attend the show that in fact some challenges are even larger than the ones they let stop them from achieving and striving for their goals! Get those show photos and get them in teh hands of those kids and parents and let them see that the biggest limitations are the limitations of perception... Proud of you girl!
