I am really at a loss right now. I need you girls to give me some insight here and advice. For the past month I have not lost nor gained any weight, but I feel like my clothes are fitting tighter. Nothing looks any bigger either. (stomach, ass...) Is this all just in my head? And do you ladies have any advice on what I can do to try and get out of this rutt. I can't lose anything else now and it is beginning to get very fustrating. I have been stuck at 130 lbs for over 3 months now and I am 5'4! UGH! Even my bf has tried helping me with changing my routine a bit. Now, I do not work out HARD like you ladies do, so I am wondering if I should start. Cause I have only been doing cardio every other day for 45 mins. and lifting weights every other day for an hour. I want to try and lose at least 10 more pounds before the new year. How much alcohol do you consume on a weekly basis? My advice to you is stick to the plan Lobo wrote out for you..can you honestly say that you have been focused on your goal? We've been over all this at least 10 times with you over the past year. ALRIGHT you broke me!! I'll tell..Here goes FC..Bikinimom..Lobo..MS..a few others and myself are all part of a Druidic cult of Flesh Worship. Hard training..Diet and discipline are mere words to us..We've attained are physiques largely in part to our RELIGION and standing around naked in the woods in the freezing cold and our Diety has blessed us for it.

Why don't you check my thread on "how much you should weigh". The avg. fitness competitor at 5'4" weights about 134 @ 9% bodyfat. You're hardly overweight at 130, unless your bodyfat is over 15%. Training harder will increase your body weight, but harden you up. Like I've said before, if you want to lose weight and get small (not lean, just small) take up distance running (60-70 mi/week). You'll look like shit and develop knee problems, but you'll weigh 120 and be in great aerobic shape ![]() F1 ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ||

Hey D! Guess what?!....I weigh more than you and I am shorter than you by 1/2", so you callin' me fat?! :PPPPPPPPPPPPP Throw the FUCKING SCALE OUT! If you gained a little fat, so be it. Use this opportunity to utilize that little bit of fat and crank up the intensity w/the weights! You don't NEED to do all that much cardio (I've not done ANY since early OCT...but the time draws near FUCK, FUCK, FUCK!!!! You all know how much I LOVE cardio.). I say cut back a bit on the cardio, QUIT W/THE ALCOHOL - PERIOD!, drink MORE WATER (if I don't drink enough in a day or two I swell up like a freaking sausage - REAL attractive), and eat a bit better. If you only give "half effort".....you only get "half gains". Not everyone REALLY wants to look like a pic in a magazine. Sure, they say they do, but in reality they only want it if it requires little to no effort. You are not competing, you don't REALLY want to be shredded and vascular - I assume that you just want to improve on your body a bit. And that's fine. Just keep plugging away, but don't engage in sabotaging behaviour (ie drinking) and then scratch your head when it isn't working. You'll be fine Dlady, just keep thinking about the big picture. Like IG said....have you really been focused on your goals? You know all the answers, but I get the sense that you are still somehow searching for the "magic" that we have found.....no magic, my social life (or lack thereof) sucks, I can't remember the last time I went out and partyed, yea I get to eat a lot now....but I'm smooth as a baby's ass and I know that my days are numbered. I know that I'm not making the gains that I could because I can not get enough sleep and that is frustrating to me....but you think I would put my ass in bed at 10PM instead of click, click, clicking away at this damned keyboard till the wee hours?! So you see where I am headed w/this? OK, you buckle down and I will get my ass to sleep at a normal hour...OK?! Do I have a deal? IG - YOU FUCKING CRACK ME UP!!!!! So IG, what you are saying is that muscle gains are timed to the waxing moon whereas you time fat loss to the waning moon. Could you be a little more specific about the actual rituals that you use and have you found invoking certain dieties to be more effective than others? Well, what have you been doing---have you been doing as lobo said to do in his plan---if I remember correctly you came on the board not too long after he put you on the plan looking for something else--we all told you to stick with it---have you, and have you been putting your whole heart into it---what about your diet---I do remember you had an eating disorder---if you aren't eating properly you won't reap any of the benefits of the working out....the clothes not fitting the same may be a psychological effect from working out---or it may be because you are slowly shedding bf & gaining muscle, in which case your weight may not change, just your body composition-(although when you gain muscle & lose fat your weight usually increases because muscle weighs more then fat)-hence the clothes fitting tighter---dont go by the scale-go by how you look,nd how you want to look... Dlady, I think the thing that would most benefit you is to stop with the pound references, & stop with the scale---dont say I want to lose 10 more pounds----get your bf levels taken & decide what level you would like to get down to ----the scale is your worst enemy---it caused you to have an eating disorder before, and you need to break that way of thinking 100%.....

THANKS TO ALL OF YOU, EVEN IG. I JUST WANT TO CLARIFY THOUGH THAT I RARELY GO OUT TO BARS OR DRINK. I AM LUCKY TO GO OUT ONCE A MONTH WITH HOW BUSY MY SCHEDULE IS RIGHT NOW.BY THE TIME I GET HOME ON A WKND NIGHT I AM TOO EXHAUSTED TO GO OUT! SO, NO I HAVENT BEEN DRINKING, I DO THINK THOUGH THAT I NEED TO PAY MORE ATTENTION TO MY DIET. PRIMARILY BEEN EATING TOO MANY PASTAS AND BREAD. I HAVE SLACKED OFF OF LOBO'S PLAN SOMEWHAT CAUSE I AM BACK TO USING THE GYM I HAVE AT HOME AND I AM LIMITED ON WHAT I CAN DO. THE $$ IS KINDA TIGHT RIGHT NOW. SO I CAN'T DO ALL THE WEIGHTS THAT THEY HAVE AT THE LOCAL GYM. AND BMOM, YOU ARE BY FAR FAT! IF I HAD YOUR FIGURE I WOULD BE IN MY GLORY! apologizing for the delayed response: I've been on a long weekend (ahhhhhh) Okay, so I'm confused. What are you trying to accomplish: building or cutting?? Hell, usually when my clothes are snug it's from inflamation and holding water. What has you so tired? If I were to guess, I'd say that you've finally run into that glass barrier of mutually negating progress. ..trying to do everything at once and achieving nothing as a result. DLady---what type of equiptment do you have at home---post up what lobo told you to do & we can give you alternatives to do with the equiptment you have.
