Hi all, I won my 2nd National Fitness title Saturday night. I'm really on cloud 9 right now! The head judge told me this is the best I ever looked and everyone was extremely complimentary. Contest day I weighed 127lbs (ugh!), 8% bodyfat. I lost a lot of water and looked very dry and tight. I was proud of my physique and conditioning. 15 girls entered this natural contest(NABF PRO-AM Nationals). I won all three rounds. I really worked hard on perfecting my routine (adding strength moves and some gymnastic moves). It's "officially" my off-season now. I will work on adding 5lbs of lean muscle to my ectomorphic frame so I can compete at a higher bodyweight next year. I'll try to post pictures when I get them back. Have a Happy Thanksgiving!    | ||

My routine was taped at the evening show by the NABF (they didn't allow family or friends to videotape). You might be able to catch the 2000 Bev Francis Atlantic States on ESPN or MSG with me performing my routine. I was 3rd in the Tall Class. If I eat consistently and keep my calories high (3800-4000) I should be able to gain 5lbs of muscle by July. I'm fighting my poor genetics BTW, the advice on carb depleting and potassium loading definitely worked. Thanks for the advice. | ||

It does feel good when you accomplish your goal(s). I'm 5'11, that's why I need to put on more muscle so when I diet down I can still be in the 130's. I've brought up my legs (with grueling workouts courtesy of Bev Francis). My strong point is having good symmetry but I still need to fill out..............I'm seeing where my genetics will take me, I haven't gone the AS route. FC, isn't it great to have the genetics to choose to do both fitness & bodybuilding? Not many of us ladies have that choice( I don't~smile!). You go sister!! Good luck at your 1st BB show. If it's in the Tri-State area I'll come out and show my support | ||
