I'm currently following Lobo's t3 cycle and am using fina/winny/primo as well to maaintain lbm. My starting weight was 249 lbs and I'm sitting at 241 lbs on my 6th day! This is my first time using t3 so I didn't know what to expect, I really don't feel any sides, especially when compared to clen or e/c/a. I haven't lost any muscle size or strength either. My diet hasn't been great either but my initial impression is that it's better to eat a little too much than too little..I can live with that. My goal is to hit 225 lbs by Christmas then alternate clen/eca 2 weeks on/off for 8 weeks. I will try to provide weekly updates of my progress. Thanks Lobo for taking the time to answer my questions.

Hey bro, his is your 1st t3 cycle? just be careful, t3 is no joke. im a pro at thyroid manipulation so take it from me, my enodcrinolgest has authored and co-authored (i think thats the proper terminology) many major journal articles regarding thyroid meds ...so take itfrom me....taper SLOWWWWLY!!..like for instance if u go as high has 100mcg of t3 when u come down goto 75mcg for 2weeks, 50mcg for 2weeks, 25, 12.5, 6.25 basically reduce dosage in 2 week intervals...i know this goes against "common practice" here on the internet...but take it from me, cuase im on thryoid drugs for the rest of my life now...also adding a little t4 at the end of a t3 cycle will also help u out. heres a little fact also... my endo swears up and down that your thyroid WILL come back to normal even if u were on t3 for 20yrs (he had a journal article on this) and without "side effects" ahhh thats where the medical community and i disagree..... they dont consider gaining 5-15 lbs of fat from rebounding a side effect... if you are a bodybuilder you WILL. so take that into consideration....slower/better the taper the less rebound you will get. another thing a lot of people dont take into consideration, is after reading about how pro bodybuilder "so and so" takes t3 and at some insane dose (nasser goes up to 250mcg day!) lets see what else... um.. you are better off staying on the low side of dosages for longer to see how well you do.. than high dose for shorter..but i dont advocate LONG cycles so dont think thats what im saying....it doesnt take much t3 to work...but takes time....and be careful in regard to LBM loss...that stuff ate my LBM up.....(insert favorite steroid of your choice here to prevent that.. lol ) if i could do it again.,, i would NEVER have i have nothing against t3 or any drug for that matter in terms of bodybuilding, i just wish people knew more about t3 than they get from reading a 1 paragraph summary from some "steroid handbook". im currenlty on t4 150mcg for the rest of my life....though my doc doesnt think the damage to my thyroid is all from my past t3 use, he has some theory how long term steroid use also lowers thyroid levels...so who knows. all i know is i never had problems until i took the t3. and hey if u have no problem going on and off t3 very frequently, then GOD bless :-) last but not least... everyone is different...im sure someone will post how they only tapered for a week or so and had no problem in terms of rebound, etc. im sure a lot of people are that lucky... but are you willing to think that lucky persons expericence will happen to you? let us know how u do, ESPECIALLY a few weeks after u come off the t3. good luck. NY Muscle..thanks for your reply and concern. Yes, it's my first time using t3. I've been dieting down for some time now but have hit a plateau. Check out Warlobo's t3 thread, that's the exact 42 day cycle I'm doing. It does taper down slowly but not as slow as you recommend. I'm using some pretty decent gear along with the t3.

NY Muscle..how long do you recommend stretching out that cycle for? No disrespect to your advice, but I'm leery of staying on over 6 weeks.

well whats your max does gonna be? if u go over 75mcg, than if i was you id take a longer taper. If u follow 42 days ( i wish i knew where this random # comes from with these people) so 6 weeks...then maybe start your taper a little early or extend and extra 2 weeks to taper better, but still i dont like short tapers. id rather see u hit max dose earlier (once again not something id do but since u have limited time to work with) do maybe 25mcg for 4 days then up to 37.5 or 50mcg for 4 days then you whould be nearing the upper limit of, i guess id call it, safe dose (it really isnt)any dose over 25mcg a day will cuase inhibition of the thyroid..the higher the dose and the longer the time on the worse the inhibition. (even though its more dose dependant than time in my opinion) So if u must, increase your t3 dose every 4 days until you hit max dose, then taper and i guess if u want to modify my plan, do 1 week per dose decrease, ie drop down 12.5mcg per week. Bottom line its very tricky and dangerous with t3...I think i may even agree that 1-2weeks on DNP then off would be safer than t3 use in general....'cause with DNP you will lose the fat fast, hence less time on this "chemical" and you wont even need to mess with t3. also in regards to DNP and t3... not that much t3 is needed if any at all, despite what you may read online. I had both mm and my 2 buddys get blood work done when we did DNP and t3 and with the added t3 our blood results were obnoxioulsy high in terms of t3..so at MOST 20-25mcg a day on t3 would be needed for DNP, if you decided to use it at all.... ive trained many guys who didnt even take t3 along with the DNP and did fine. great fat loss and kept it off. anyway decide for yourself, im just looking out 'cause i speak from my own and many others experiences.. and i was also lucky enough (if you call this being lucky) to be one of Dan Duchaines 1st "lab rats" when he 1st starting playing with DNP. so my only intent for my posting is to prepare you or atleast let you know everything you need to before it happens to you.
