I finally figured out how to post a freaking pic so...... without further delay.... I had the extreme pleasure of meeting and working with Valentina Chepiga, the new heavyweight Ms Olympia. She is beautiful on the inside as well as on the outside! Believe it or not the majesty of her physique PALES in comparison to her warmth, kindness and intelligence. I thought the women of elite would appreciate some little known facts about her that I personally found to be inspirational. She began weight training at the age of 26 because she was dissatisfied with her body. Her shoulders were narrow and her thigh, hips and glutes were flabby and heavy! As she embarked on this quest for personal improvement she was told by a trainer that her genetics SUCKED and that she would NEVER get ANYWHERE! She is now 38 YEARS OLD! There can only be one Ms Olympia (OK, maybe two), but this information only illustrates how it is NEVER TOO LATE to begin your quest - REGARDLESS of age, station of life or fitness goal.....and that you should never EVER let ANYONE hold you back or tear you down. We can only strive to be the best that we can be.....one rep, one set, one day at a time. KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!

She is indeed inspirational. Too many times we hear pro's going on about how they were god's gift before they even picked up a weight. You know the Usual BS like "I had 20 inch arms before I even lifted a weight". But from what you have said about Valentina she is different. The personal trainer who told her she had crap genetics is a Twat. If Valentina wanted to be as big as Kim or any of the rest she could, but she has chosen not to go that way. I believe She will be a great Ms Olympia. | ||
