Try http://www.mendosa.com/gilists.htm Excellent site on the GI in general. BTW, has anyone out there ever eaten any Burgen Soy Lin? It's a bread which supposedly has a GI of 19, if I remember correctly. Would be very handy for low carb diets. | ||

Just a reminder on GI numbers. They only apply if that food is consumed by itself. Anything that alters gastric emptying will alter the GI (i.e., combine a high GI food with fat, and it will drop the GI considerably because it slows gastric emptying). F1 |
