I have been off training for a month now due to a rotator cuff injury and was going to change my routine, Has any body tried the Size surge Program or(POF -Positions of Flexion)or Aftershock? Are they worth giving a shot?

bump, I've always wondered myself. Holman says his bodyweight shot over 80 pounds from the program, which I find hard to believe.

I may be mistaken but the size surge program was the one used in the "colorado experiment" where casey viator gained like 50lbs of muscle in 8weeks or something crazy like that. Of course he was injected with high dosases of the most powerful steriods known at the time... but I don't see why it wouldn't work if you were natural, it is a fairly low volumne workout like H.I.T.

tell me I'm not trippin' cause I think I'm right about this.

Holy shit...when are people on this board gonna learn that Arthur Jones and his experiments were bullshit.
I hate to break it to you all, but where exactly was Casey Viator hiding all that new mass????? Lmao. At the end of the tests, he looked only marginally better than his previous competitive self. Same with Mentzer and his heavy booty bollocks. An all to easy money making enterprise, and yet it still gets a new sucker every day. Yes, HIT works...so does high volume...so does everything else...for a while. If i tell you i went from 90kg to 135 kg in a matter of months, will you all give me lots of money???? Geez, i hope so. Is it not about time that we started to ignore the marketing hype, concentrate on REAL SCIENCE and get on with getting big and strong, without paying for it? For christs sakes, what builds size has been know since the dawn of time. Stop looking for a better way or the latest fad, and start putting in some god damn hard work. Cheers. G.

Gforce? chill out bro

I didn't even know it was a marketing scam, shit I thought it was a gov. experiment. maybe I should research my shit more, too bad I could give a shit less. As for a sucker: your kidding yourself if you think I am. The whole entire supplement industry is a scam. Think I don't know that, we'll millions of dumbass americans don't so I don't blame you.

Watch how you word your posts asshole, I was telling some dude what I knew that's it. You come in like your some fucking god and tell me to do hard work. Did I say he could gain 50lbs of muscle with a fad workout and a rotater cuff injury and without gear?

dickhead...

p.s. I've read other posts from you, your an intelligent person and I respect you. You may have been pissed off cause you didn't get head from your lady or something. Just be more respectfull and save the "hard work" preach cause I got that covered bro. no hard feelings K

wo wo wo wo...
Valdez...the "sucker" wasnt aimed at you. the sucker is the guy who spends the money, swallows the lies, and gets nothing back. I don't come here and post as "a God"...nothing like it. I am just a humble Scotsman, but, yes you are right, i do come over as pissed off, and it is because i am. Anyway...i phrased it as "we".....as in "we" the lifting community...no other sport has nearly as many absolute charlatans as BBing, every where you turn there is someone looking to make a buck from hype. Thats what i hate. Oh...and Valdez...i am not a "dumbass American". not by a long way. I am Scots...like Groundskeeper Willie with his shirt off...lol. Ok..basically you are pissed because you though i was insinuating that you were a no work ethic easy way out fad following idiot. I wasnt. I was just pointing out that there are a lot of them about. Im not one either. As you prolly gathered, i am a back to basics kinda lifter.
Anyway, since we are having this big ole discussion....how about we get around to sorting out that Clean and Jerk thing...lol.
Cleans are wondrous..the work of God himself..lol.
Why dontcha like em Valdez..ya gotta do cleans..please extrapolate on your why you have avendetta against them. Cheers bud...oh..and note that at no point did i refer to anyone as "asshole" or "dickhead"...I expect the same courtesy to be extended in return. Cheers bro, G.

What makes you think that Size Surge isn't hard work? The body grows fastest when it is shocked with a different training routine, and this looks like a unique training routine. Although I agree the Colorado Experiment was a farce, he used huge amounts of steroids, and he also had been fasting for some time, so he easily gained his weight back.

Wo Wo Wo Wooo Sorry
Gforce, LOL

you definetly are a cool guy. sorry about the dickhead and asshole thing, I came in the forum pissed off and felt like putting my foot down. I think I'm gonna cry... Nah! What a total misunderstanding...

Cleans... yep I dissed on them pretty bad last couple weeks. I work at a gym and the only guys that do cleans are highschool football players who think they all that (till they see me... heh.) We'll I'll probably never do them. they are an exercise I can live without. I really can't see them building muscle. You definetly will get sore doing them, especially if you do it for an hour like you said, LMAO
I'm more on the BB side of the sport. but I do some powerlifting routines every once and a while, he'll I'd probably complete if my bench wasn't so shitty 270lbs@179 Powerlifters are freaking strong... but I want the best of both: Power and the symmetry.

Dude I totally thought you were flaming me for being a sucker, not knowing my arthur jones history (like I care who created the crapiest brand of workout "machines" -nautilus, eeewwh!), and for believing in the supplement world, not being a hard worker, and looking for some "magical" shortcut...

Groundskeeper Willie with his shirt off!!
LOL, you made my day BRO. I hope you read this post cause I now think your probably one of the coolest dudes on this forum, even though your going to "ruin" your back doing cleans, HA! JK.

Peace.

The Size Surge program is a very good program. I've used it and I made pretty good gains. I was dieting and I was using a lot of supplements. I was using Muscle Meals, Anavol-R and Cort-Bloc. I gained 30 pounds. 15 pounds was from the water weight, 5 pounds was fat and 10 pounds I believe was muscle. This program may work for you and it may not. It all depends on your genetic potential. And no, the Size Surge routine was not used by Casey Viator. Steve Holeman designed this program. Viator's routine was different. And supposively Viator gained 50-60 pounds. Those gains do sound very hard to imagine, but then think realisticly. Casey Viator was a pro bodybuilder who probably had one of the best genetics in bodybuilding history. Don't compare your body to his. He may have used steroids during that time, I don't know and no one else knows, except for all those who are close to Viator and Viator himself. Always think realistically. Try to aim for 5 pounds. 5 pounds of muscle mass is a very rewarding achievement. I recommend that you try the Size Surge program.

casey Viator was already a bodybuilding champion when he took place in the colorado experiment....At one time he weighed 225lbs in contest shape...when he started training with arthur jones he was recovering from a lengthy illness and hadn't trained in months, he was about 160 when he began and got back up to 220 in a month....It is easier to regain muscle than to build it in the first place...Viator had already been that size before, so it is not like he was 160 his whole life and suddenly gained all this weight....plus he was fed an enormous amount of food and I am sure steroids were involved....Steve Holman developed Size Surge BASED on Viator's program, it is not the exact same, but alot of the exercises and principles are the same. Viator would have regained his mass no matter what program he used.

Also, Holman likes to claim POF helped him gain 80lbs...but he was 120 when he began training and the heaviest he weighed was about 200lbs...so basically he gained 80lbs from all his years of training, not from POF alone....hell, he could have been 13 yrs old and weighed 120 when he started training, the 80lbs is just what he gained throughout his life.

So basically you do 2 exercises per bodypart twice a week in Phase 1, and 3 exercises per bodypart twice a week in Phase 2...sounds pretty good, hits every muscle from different angles..I'll try it out..
