Ok...Ipw asked me to post my routine, but it changes plenty often, so im just gonna basically describe what i do, and leave it up to Ipw to make a routine from my rambling. These are the lifts i use.... Squats, deads, bench, clean, clean + jerk, snatch, high pulls, hang cleans, barbell shrugs, dumbell shrugs, military prersses, push presses, close grip presses, leg presses and good mornings. I only occcasionally do any direct work for arms, and i avoid "little" exercises at all costs....eg NEVER do laterals, flyes, concentration curls, any machine exercise, any single arm tricep extension, any direct calf work etc etc. What this basically means is that i only ever use relatively heavy weights. My splits are almost always push, pull, squat, often with two days rest between each work day. I rarely do more than 4 exercises each dayin the gym, usually for 2 -4 sets each. I always bench, daed and squat every program, but the assistance work changes each time. Outside of the gym I use strongman implements to build explosive strength and keep my body in reasonable condition. I usually do car pulls, rock lifts and carrys, sled drags, weighted sprints, and such like every four days or so. If you want to build a routine from this info, go ahead Ipw. Good luck, and drop me a line here anytime if you follow this path and need any further help. Cheers, G.

Gforce, thanks for the info. That sounds like a great powerlifting routine. I have weak joints, so usually don't train that heavy, so I don't know that I will follow your program exactly (I don't think I could do car pulls, even if I tried, anyway). Still, I think the push, pull, squat split makes a lot of sense for me, so I'll probably give that a go. Thanks again for the help. cheers,
