Hi. I just wanted to know people's opinions here. I wanted to know if I am of average strength for my age/size or where I stand. I weigh 155 lbs. I am about 5'11, 16 years old, and i've never had my bodyfat measured except for a thing on the internet. (it was supposedly at 7%) I have a 30 inch waist and am basically skinny with lean muscle. Right now I squat with 155 lbs for 8 reps. For bench press (I do dumbell chest press instead) I use the 45 pound dumbells and am currently at 6 reps. (I just moved up to 45's the other day so that explains why I only do 6) For preacher curls I use a 60 lb easy curl bar and do 8 reps on it.....for all the exersizes I do about 2/3 sets. Am I of average strength or what?? let me know what you think.

Hey garza....you sound exactly like me. I'm 16, 160lbs, approx your height and I use around the same weight as you...maybe a bit lighter. I think for our age we are stronger and shaplier than the average person our age. Just wait till we graduate though...we'll be huge!

Hey guys,
Thanks for the replies and keep 'em coming. Yeah I think that by the time I graduate I'll be nothing but muscle lol. I have been weight training for a year and I don't even feel like the same person as I did a year ago. Bodybuilding has given me confidence in other areas of my life as well and in only one year....I'm in the 11th grade and I am anxious to see what I will look like when I graduate. I am thinking about going away to Bible college in either Indianapolis or St Louis, Ive been surfin the net for some good gyms to go to....hopefully I'll find a good one that I can afford.
