Hey guys. Mike Mentzer was a proponenent of a whole body workout once every 5-9 days (i think) That's 4 days out of 7 (hardly H.I.T.) I have been following Dorian's split for the last couple month's, (1 or 2 sets to failure) and it has been working great. So what do you guys think: is this a version of H.I.T. or is it a hybrid mix of H.I.T. and "high volume" training???????????? - Has anyone read any of Dorian's books (are they good?)

ive read it all.and yeah it some kind aweird mutation of HIT..ive never read up on HIT myself..but he states in his books that thats what he based his training on...thats why he looks like a cross between a bodybuilder and a powr lifter...a long as the shoe fits i guess.. ------------------ "...damn you for not giving my TEST" - Metallica "After this show i'll be fat and happy again.....If i make it to the show...." - Lee Priest "Lets put some weight on the bar.." - Shawn Ray "IT DOESN'T MATTER" - The Rock

Hi. First, Mentzer never said to work the hole body every 5-9 days. On heavy Duty I, the rutine he sugested is a 3days on per week, but you should regulate the volume and frecuency until you are training once every 7-9days (Heavy Duty II). I think that Dorian train in the "Heavy Duty for steroid users" stile.

it is hit training, theres diffrent variations of hit.the one per week is for the extreme hardgainers.dorian has followed hit along with aron baker and labrada and many others.hit works well when volume stops working.i personally switch training philosophys every 3 or 4 months. but i do believe in overtraining, and i make sure to do more heavy intense sets than just mindless pumping. s()(...)/''..)e/''k

As all of the elite mass monsters do, Dorian does what is (or what he believes is) the best for him. Another point is that very little people (or I'd even say none -especially from non-juicers) can pick up training of a pro and follow it successfully. Or do you think workin' out on gear should be the same as "natural"? Hmm. Mylo
