I have traditionally done pulldowns only= what a mistake!!!!!!!! 4 months of doing 3 sets of wide grip and 3 sets of narrow grip chins to failure followed by 2 sets of wide and 2 sets close grip pulldowns. my back is still improving in width. if you want big lats do chins!! ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I agree 100%. All you need are Deadlifts and chin-ups for back development. Some succeed because they are destined to, most succeed because they are determined to ![]() ![]() ![]()

I would like a wider back, however I am not strong enough to do many pull ups. I can do like 5. Is that enough, or should I just stick with pull downs? ![]() ![]() ![]()

That's my problem too. What I do is just keep doing sets until you reach a certain number, say 30. Then you will start needing less and less sets until eventually you go straight through. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
