not me, havent really learned to do them correctly, plus i dont tend to do ballistic movements. did cleans for a while, awesome pump and i got tired as hell, just wears out my back and abs. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I never do them anymore. Back when I used to train medium/high volume I was doing a 2 day on 1 day off, 2 days on 2 days off split. So it was like Monday/Thursday- (Upper Body); Tuesday/Friday- (Lower Body). I used to use clean and jerk plus presses as a warm up. I found it really warmed up my back and my shoulders. I would be careful with this exercise, very few people that I've seen use it don't do it correctly. They usually do the movement too sloppy or too slow. It should be done kinda of fast. ------------------ ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

As far as explosive movements, I like high pulls or snatch pulls a lot better - awsome for back/shoulders/traps. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I'm starting to do powerlifts, and on this one I have to say, it doesn't matter to me... I do back and shoulders together. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

I do back and shoulders toghether also. It only seems natural when including power moves like clean and press, power cleans, and deadlifts. Both muscle groups are seriously involved in these moves. ![]() ![]() ![]() |
