From liftin and shit I got these calouses formin on my hands. I know you guys probably got them too. Do you do anything to get rid of them or just show them off as "trophies". I think they look kinda cool.

I have a callous under each of my fingers on both hands, but I just leave em alone. If you peel them off and you continue to train hard, they'll just come back anyway.

Rexie - I'm proud of my callouses too (even as a female) but if your gal is not particularly fond of being scraped up by them, try Cornhuskers. Its a gel (sold in the lotions generally at any store), non greasy, no perfumes or anything and works to soften your hands. ------------------

I wear gloves and I still have massive calouses under the fingers. I like 'em though, i wear the gloves basically for grip.

FlexRich here so listen, So you want to know my opinion on CALOUSES! Well, I think they are f*&%ing Awesome. This shows that you are a man of the gym, a beast, a god at the gym, most of all a bodybuilder. Keep them, they do have some use, when you are shoulder shrugging the extra skin on the palm relieves the pain of new untouched skin from pulling,(OUCH!!!) The worst is when you have some serious weight and you tear them, that hurts but those babies grow back tougher than ever. Only one down side I experienced from the calouses was when me and my lady get a little freaky and I run my hands up and down her leg, well over the past year I had to buy her over a 110- pairs of pantyhoses and lingerie, the women hate it, but they sure love the musclemass. FLEX ON. [This message has been edited by FlexRich (edited August 24, 2000).]

Everything depends on what you personally like - if you feel uncomfortable with 'em, try to get rid of 'em... But if you're not, let them be. I personally like mine, they remind me of the effort I needed to put to that one-last-almost-impossible rep of deadlift... Mylo
