powerlifting involves the 3 major lifts
deadlifts ,benchpress,squat...basically all you do is work around these 3 lifts and try to improve your total poundage score.i think power lifting is an amazing sport that gets very little recognition.the heavy poundages and extreme workloads will definetly give you mass, that is until you get used to it.
most guys that start powerlifting dont stick around for long, because they like you are intrested in the sport for the wrong reason
powerlifting has never been about mass or big muscles its about sheer power.
powerlifting involves many diffrent weight classes, not all powerelifters are 300lb.
there are many great lifters in the 120lb class that bench over 300lb..
do more research on powerlifting make sure its exactly what youre looking for ...
good luck bro
