I was wondering if someone would be able to explain in detail the forum of a deadlift! I feel I am doin it all wrong and need some help IP: Logged |

Don't you have anyone in your gym that does deadlifts that you can ask? That'd be the easiest way. We can tell you how to do it and you can go out and try it for yourself, but there maybe something missing in the translation. Plus they'd be there to give you specific pointers if your form is off. Deads are tricky and take a lot of concentration.Have someone teach you and then try to visualize each lift.You can do them for years and still lose your form easily. One tip;I set the bar all the way down and treat each rep as a seperate lift. IP: Logged |

I tell people that the initial part comes from the hips and knees (a squat) and the top is just getting your torso into an uright position. Keep you back flat as possible. IP: Logged |

its almost like doing a squat except you let the bar hang down. don't let your back turn into a boomerang. see it to often and just a precaution. ------------------ IP: Logged |
