I do clean and presses twice a week. Once at the end of my shoulder routine. and 4 days later at the end of my back routine. 5sets 12/10/8/6 then a max rep set. What do you think should I cut back to once a week..? Let me know IP: Logged |

Are you getting good gains from doing this? If you are then I wouldn't change a thing. Personally I do cleans once every 2 weeks and I don't do standing presses. I don't do them because the standing version bothers my back too much. I only do cleans once every 2 weeks because I don't want to overtrain my shoulders. With all of the other shoulder exercises I do and because when you are doing chest, your shoulders are hit fairly hard, I could easily overtrain my shoulders if I did them twice a week.
