I have come to quite a plateau for my arms(biceps particularly)... I've been stuck at the same weight for months on curls. Should I engage in some deadlifting and other power lifts, or will that not help. I currently do between 6-8 reps, should I lower it?

you should post your routine up. you do have a point on getting stronger with deads. squats are important also. try doing 3 to 5 reps on your power lifting movements.

Just from my own personal experience I know that when my deadlifts and squats increase all my other lifts increase as well. I'd say you definitely ought to give it a try.

Try changing your reps for biceps/triceps to something higher. Change your tempo and/or rest between sets. Change your time under tension (kinda same as tempo). Try compound sets, especially for biceps, or try supersets. Try drop sets. To blast my biceps, I ocassionally do a set of low-rep cheat curls (heavy negative), followed by moderate rep dumbell curls, followed by high-rep preacher curls, all with no rest. Then I repeat once more (twice if I'm feeling bave and stupid). Brief and intense, and my arms are sore for days. I'm not sure powerlifts will do aything for an isolation muscle like the biceps or triceps.

V:
do you do the big 3 powerlifting movements. I am just telling you because if you don't you are missing out on the best mass building possible.

IMO, that's too much for your arms. What does the rest of your routine look like? What split are you doing? How many days a week are you working out and which muscle groups are grouped together? I can't remember what you said you did for reps, I think your original post said 6-8 reps. What you might try and do is pick an exercise like BB Curls and do 3 sets of between 10-5 reps and then pick one more exercise like Incline DB Curls and do two sets of higher reps, like 10-15. And do the same thing for tripceps. Something you might want to try. I've had success with it.
