I typically tend to carry the bar low when I squat. Some have said that I could increase my leg dev. by carrying the bar higher. I tried carry the bar higher (near my traps.) but I wasn't comfortable carrying the weight. What's your guys opinion.... IP: Logged |

WHat ever is comfortable for you. I don't know what weights you use, if I go real heavy I tend to drop the bar slightly, say along the lower portion of my traps. Lighter lifts are almost on top of the traps. BPP IP: Logged |

Normally when I start to carry the bar higher with warmups with around 225 to 315 the bar tends to be higher but with my final sets (not normally over 450) the bar will migrate where it sits on my rear delts and at the bottom of my traps. I'll take your advice and stick with what feels comfortable.
