![]() ![]() ![]() Off hand, I don't know any specefic programs that will help increase speed. However, there are some things that you can do. Do allot of cardio. This will not only shred excess fat, which will greatly help your speed, but it will also give you cardiovascular endurance so you won't be as winded. You can also do leg exercises, like squats, extensions, and curls. Do multi-sets and keep your reps in the 12-15 rep range. This will give you muscle endurance. For example take running, Most people can't keep up a running pace because 1 of 2 reasons. 1. They either get shortness of breath (winded.) This is because they either are carrying too much weight, (usually body-fat) or because their heart isn't developed enough to handle the strain. 2. Lactic asid starts to build in their legs so they can't go on for very long do to the pain. So if you work on building your cardiovascular endurance and you muscle endurance up, your speed should increase. --------------------------------------- Train.........................(S)mart IP: Logged |
