I have long chest muscles, from top to bottom. I'm having a hard time tightening them up. I can't seem to define the outer and under edges. I do 4 exercises of 4 sets each, once a week. I switch up the exercises often. Example: 4 sets of dumbell flat bench, 4 set of barbell decline, 4 sets of cable flyes, 4 sets of barbell flat. Any excercises I should cut out or focus on to shorten and tighten up my chest. IP: Logged |

This may sound stupid to a lot of guys, but I've heard that a good way to work the outer pecs is to get one of those spring things with two handles that you pull apart. Just a suggestion. IP: Logged |

Forget about the spring thing, waste of time. Dips are a good lower and outer pec firmer.Get a full stretch and good contraction at the top. Also watch your diet, if your carrying fat in the area the only way to shift it is to cut back on your calories and up your training intensity. As far as shortening or lenghtening the pecs goes, you can't.Its your genetic make up, you can however focus on a paticular area of the chest to help achieve the look you want.
