![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() You have to start doing explosive movements. Like just crouching down and jumping as high as you can. Also do short sprints 30 to 40 yards. Well at least this is what I was told. Sounds kind of funny, but it may work. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() That all depends on the type of speed you want. If you're a pursuit player, you'd want footspeed. But If you really want to up your sprinting I'd say you need a combination of good quad excercises and some wind sprints. Leg press and squats are good lifts and I would say rather than run 30-40 yards, do all sorts of distances from 20 to 100 yrds. Suicide drills are awsome if you want sprinting indurance. BTW, why are you worrying about HS football already? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you want speed, try changing your routine to fit it.You train slow you are slow, you train fast you will be fast.I would suggest changinging your reps to below 6 which will help developing a stronger neural drive as well as working your stabilizers and look at increasing your hamstring strenght.Squats,Deadlifts,Bench Preses,etc... keep the intensity high and the volume low.
