![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I'm getting back into the gym again, and it seems right now the only time i can get in is at around 9am in the morning. The rest of my day (work) is spent programming, so I just sit around a lot. Can someone tell me if working out in the morning is worse than evenings ? I used to train only in the evenings. Should I get up around 8 and eat a light meal, then after working out, just chow every 2 hours for the rest of the day ? I hate mornings. I usually don't have that much energy and appetite really. thanks, IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() your training time really doesn't matter. when ever you feel the strongest is the best time. I would deffinetly eat a meal before you hit the weights. You'll need the energy to get going in the weight room. As for the rest of the day I would just follow your normal diet, with 5-6 meals throughout the day. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I prefer mornings personally. The gym is usually less crowded. Plus, after work, I'm usually ready to go home and chill out. ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I work out at 5:00 am.2 cups of coffee and that's it before.I know it's wrong but so be it,I am not getting up at 3:00 to eat first. That said I would certainly prefer 9:00,lot's of time to eat first. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I prefer working out in the morning. Sometimes I get really good workouts around 6:00 am plus the rest of the day you can just eat and not worry about having to go to the gym later. It feels good to get it out of the way. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() I like morning workouts much better and trust me, I'm far from a morning person. I get up and have some whey protein(about 30-35 grams) and about 1- 1.5 serv of oatmeal. I also take Dymetadrine Xtreme before the meal and it kicks in hard about 75 min. later and I hit the weights. The rest of the day is devoted to work, eating and this board. Gotta love this lifestyle! ------------------ IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I like mornings best because it is less crowded and I am fresh. I do attend 1 day at night per week and I have to say some times I am not as strong but I kinda have a higher excitement I guess because I warm up quicker and can do my workout quicker. But mornings are best. I go at 8:30 to the gym and now that it is summer and in cal. It feels great. I also am not to much of a morning eater because I either throw it up when working out or I have no appetite but caffeine I love it. IP: Logged |
