..as previously mentioned 39 over here. Lifting for us well aged people is not really different from the younger crowd. Things you do have to be careful of though is joints and recovery. Don't go TOO heavy. Repair time might also be longer, but I haven't found that yet . Routines I have followed have been pretty standard as of late, but this week I started the GVT (German Volume Training) / 10 for 10 routine. I will let you know how it goes after 6 weeks. I'm 39 also,lifting heavy for over 10 years. I don't remember anything before that,but you know how us slobbering old geezers can get that way. IP: Logged |
