Tomorrow we start doing heavy running for about 45 min for football then lift for 45 min, i still have about 5-10 lbs to gain before season, i was wondering if i took a fatty acid such as CLA if it would help cut down on the weight i would normally lose, if not what can i do. oh I will be doing this 3 days a week

Personally I would rather see you take in something more calorically dense like flax oil (High Lignan). That would help but it would not be a cure all. Some more information is also neccesary like your weight, age, how many calories are you consuming a day. If you answer these questions maybe we can be of some help.

When you say everything edible does that include meal replacements and or protein powders? If so then just throw some flax oil right in w/ your drink. If not then take 2-3 tablespoons daily at meal time. Just make sure you have some juice handy as a chaser to kill the taste. A tablespoon 2 or 3 times a day I think will offer you some real benefits. I know i mention this so often one would be led to believe i am prolab rep. N-large 2 excellent stuff want to know more let me know. Or add flaxseed oil to your diet.
