![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Most Natural trainers split is based on a 1 bodypart per day, 5-6 days per week. Such as Skip lacour, Bill Davey. Steroid users tend to train less. Dextor Jacksons split, Monday. Push, Tuesday. Pull, What gives? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() From what I understand it because of poundage differences. If one is using gear it will enable you to lift much more weight quicker than the natural people. However many people using gear say that the joints and ligaments are not catching up to how fast their muscles are growing. This is why they differ. Gear users can pound out heavier weights but need to watch they do not over do, or over use, their joints. This is what I was told when I wonder the same thing. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() So does this mean WE are all undertrained? Should we follow the routines of the past? Bodyparts 3x per week. High volume? IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I would not do that. If you are "natural" lifter you can still over use you joints and ligaments at 3X per week. High reps also put wear and tear on joints. Once a week per body part usually gives your whole body (muscle, ligaments, joints and nervous system time to recuperate.) Once in a while for a change I will lift two body parts per week but I watch how many sets I do each work out so I do not over do it. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Skip Lacour is not drug free, he used to compete in BB and use A/S but he never won, so he claims he stopped using drugs, but i think he probably use some in off season, but not to get ready for competition Bluesy IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() most naturals i know train three days a week for about an hour to an hour and a half. When pro's say they only train 3 or four days a week, they might train for 3-4 hours a day.The volume of their workouts are much greater than a natural, although they might be working out the same number of days. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Skip claims to be life time drug free. So wheres the proof? About pros training longer just doesnt seem to be true. Dorian only trains for 45min. 4X per week. Don Holloway from the 60's trained 2 hours 6 days and was in great shape. I think Im gonna try a high volume approach for a change. IP: Logged |
