Hyperextension and good morning exercises. But be careful, you can easily damage your lower back. IP: Logged |

Here is a list of the exercises that work the lower back. Deadlifts, back extensions, good mornings, seated cable rows, t-bar rows, barbell bent over rows. You're working your lower back in all of these movements. I rely on them, because I am not able to do back extensions or good mornings. They really hurt my back while I do them. ------------------ IP: Logged |

Good mornings are performed as follows place the bar behind the neck (as if you were going to squat). Bend at the waist until your upper body is parallel to the floor. **Do not exceed parallel. Also keep your back staight during the movement. Return to the standing postion. Good mornings are excellent for the lower back however performed incorrectly or with to much weight will cause major back problems. I tend to stick with Hyper extensions which work the area alittle more safely. IP: Logged |
