One leg atiptoe skip-jumping with a heavy dumbbells is a very good exercise. Just one problem here - to keep breath :-) IP: Logged |

You have to hit the calves hard.... Do standing calve extentions on the calf machine high reps(12-15) as heavy as you can 4-6 sets vary the toe position to hit the different sides ie: toes straight= overall mass, toes out= outside, toes in= inside. Stand on a block with just your toes and extend down as far as you can (feel the stretch) and at the top sqeeze for 2 seconds. Use the seated calf machines after. Also some of the bros recomend skipping. Just remember HIT EM' HARD, GET TO LOVE THE PAIN CAUSE WHEN YOU WORK CALVES HARD THEY FUCKIN BURN!!! ------------------ IP: Logged |

The only thing that works for me is high rep AND heavy weight. Remember those muscles carry your body weight plus any clothing(work related-toolbelts etc...) weight around all day long- i.e. heavy, high rep work!! Standing and seated if available. IP: Logged |

after 20-30 minutes of cardio in place the next day my calves are sore as hell.i also like walkin up stair cases with heavy d.b in hand. IP: Logged |
