As a beginner you should develop forearms whilst doing bi's and back. No need to isolate the forearms yet. As for improving your bench - form is more important than weight. Keep good form and the weight will improve.

Remember in weight training sometimes less is more stay away from the bench for a while or maybe you are training it to often. Every muscle group once a week unless you have incorperated a little sauce in your diet, then that would be a different story, but at 17 there would be more negatives than posotive.

One thing I did when i was a little younger was to switch week to week from dumbell bench press to barbell. Switching every week kept my muscles off balance and incorporating the dumbells helped to strengthen parts of my bench the barbell would not.

Do you want to just improve your bench? or get a better body? cuz ive seen guys that can bench more weights than i can count, but they have NO chest whatsoever.

My advice is NOT to get hooked up in how much u lift...but how u lift it..

Man, i sound like a wise man...trust me..im not..
