Since there are many bodybuilding and fitness type magazines to pick from, I was wondering which publications is your choice for training articles and other information.

I would never buy any mag's that you see. Most of them just recycle ideas. Think about it, how many routines do you think there are but they always come up with a new one every month, they just need a catching healine like "New and Improved that will add 50 pounds to your bench in a week and make your dick 10 inches longer, routine" it's all propaganda to make money. These boards are the best place to find info on training for naturals. Do your searching, I know there are a few natural magazines out there but there not very popular.

magazines these days are about selling products, not informing the reader. if someone is all about making money, y would they waste time caring about if you got the 50 pounds you need on your bench?

Well, I guess you are looking for input, not everyone's fight against magazines, so I will give you my input. Muscle and Fitness probably gives the most useful info and is the only magazine I read. I dont find much out of the other ones.

I receive Testosterone Magazine and read T-mag on the net at www.t-mag.com. These guys are nuts, just the way I like it! They are pretty hard core and are not afraid to talk about anything. I believe TC and Charles Poliquin came from the EAS Bill Philips sponsored mag and are really helpful. They don't seem to hold back information like you see on other sites.

T-mag has got to be about the best source of free information on the net. They have tried several times to get their mag published but the publishers do not like the testosterone reference and the commentary, like when TC talks about "panty diving". (very funny)

You kinda got to tone down the workouts a little if you are not a serious BB, but they really know their stuff.

I agree with most of you. I like reading the mags but don't take much notice of the workouts (the diet and supplements stuff is not bad). The workouts are written by roid heads for roid heads. And even they change there workout each week depending on which mag they are in!

For the Women reading - I like Oxygen, Muscle & Fitness Hers, and I like the feature article on a Fitness model in NPC. (Sometimes, I'll buy a magazine just because it has something about Monica Brant as she's my favorite. As a matter of fact, she's in the May 2K issue of M&F.) Occasionally, I read Shape or Fitness!

Musclemag used to be good, but now it's just a 300 page advertisement. At least the weider pubs state when something's an ad.

The only one I get is Muscle and Fitness. Most of it is the same routines with someone new, but I always find something new in them that I didn't know, as well they have some good information on different research, that is not meant as an advertisement for anything.
The drug SAMe stands out in my mind as it was talking about arthritis, which my mother has. It was in M&F before an other Mags and has helped her.
Plus they have a good recipie now and again. Tuna Burgers anyone
