Hey guys.....Like everyone I get a great pump while working out and look great in the gym...But after that and the next morning, i usually go back to looking pretty small and these is no hardness to my muscles, unless i work them a bit. Is there any thing i can change/do to start retaining a firmer pump throughout the day? Give me some advise fellas, thanks, Gary IP: Logged |

What you're feeling is the after-workout pump. The only thing you can do is to try like hell to gain muscle mass. IP: Logged |

i understand the "after workout pump," but I mean that my muscles look smaller and softer than most people I know during non workout periods. Obviously like I said I look fine while in the gym, but I just think I'm not looking as big and firm as I should for the work I put in. Has anyone had this problem...and tried something that made a difference? Gary IP: Logged |

you always look more pumped in the gym that you do out of it. i think you need to mass up. when the muscle gets pretty large it won't need that pump to look big and hard, unless of course you got fat all over it. IP: Logged |

What body type are you? I believe there are 3 general types Endomorph, Mesomorph, and Ectomorph. If your an Ectomorph youll have trouble gaining mass. A friend of mine is an Ectomorph, lifts more weight than me and doesn't gain any mass, that really sucks for him. If thats your body type you may want to keep the cardio light and lift more weight. Also stack up on carbs and protein. Hope this helps. ------------------ IP: Logged |

I think Im a ectoporph....or "hard gainer" Im a little guy...19 years old 5-6 150 Lb.s I got my bench up to 225, and thats after 5 pyrimid sets. I work with more weight than most guys my size do. My prombelm i think is I only eat about 2000 CAlories a day. I think i need to up that to around 2800 at least to put on size. Im kind of a picky eater though, i drink lots of milk eats lots of yogurt, myoplex shake everyday, EAS whey protien shake, fruit, oatmeal, and scrambled eggs. Just cant seem to find the right tricks to start looking better. Im about 6% bodyfat, but i have thick skin, i think its genetic. Anyone know how to reduce skin thickness? Gary IP: Logged |

A couple of years ago, I experienced longer pumps when I used creatine, glutamine and vanadyl together at the same time. Also drinking a lot of water! IP: Logged |

Two words for you: RED MEAT! You already know that you need to eat a lot of food and water. Creatine would REALLY help you too. So might glutamine. But forget about reducing your skin thickness. It's not possible, and you'll be glad you have it when you're old and supple while everyone around you looks like raisins. (I have really thick skin and will NEVER see my abs -- I don't care anymore, as long as I'm hard.) If you're really picky about food but still want the calories, have anywhere from 1 to 10 tablespoons of flax oil a day. You can also add heavy cream to your shakes and put extra yolks in your scrambled eggs. IP: Logged |

THERES AN OLD SECRET THAT MANY OF THE PROS USE(BESIDES THE DRUGS) TO OBTAIN HARDNESS .VANADYL SULFATE 100MGS A DAY FOR A MONTH.IT WORKS WONDERS.THE REASON YOUVE NEVER READ THIS IN ANY OF THE MAGS IS CAUSE AT THOSE LEVELS V.S IS QUITE TOXIC TO THE LIVER WHICH IS WHY YOU SHOULD USE MILK THISTLE ALONG WITH IT.IF YOURE GONNA TRY IT MAKE SURE YOU USE SPORT PHARMAS VANADYL PH,DONT BE FOLLED BY CHEAP V.S,ITS QUITE AN EXPENSIVE MINERAL.MAKE SURE U USE A REPUTABLE BRAND.AND BE SURE TO TAKE NATURES WAY THISYLIN ALONG WITH IT(ITS A MUST IF U CARE ABOUT YOUR LIVER)AFTER A MONTH YOU SHOULD NOTICE INCREDIBLE HARDNESS AND YOUR PUMPS WILL BE BIG GER THAN EVER...MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS TAKE V.S WITH CARBS AND TAKE THE 100MG IN DIVIDED DOSES THROUGH OUT THE DAY.... sabe, i only read the first few responses because everyone said the same thing, "blah blah after workout pump we all get and look better during it" , and as you said, you already know that, so i dont know what the deal is with saying it to you 8 times, it accomplished nothing. What i think it is , is that when you roll outta bed and look in the mirror, your body is empty of all nutrients, no carbs, no water to fill you out. ..That's #1. And, you say you seem to look much more small than other people do while they're not training in comparison to while they're training, right? Chances are this is just a self complex you have going on, I think we all have it. If we're not looking as big as possible we're not happy, and you always want to get bigger so even when you're huge you still think you're small. IP: Logged |
