![]() ![]() ![]() You can't just do upper body otherwise you will look pretty stupid if you've got thin legs. Chest - incline press (3), seated hammer (2) press, fly's (2) and cross-overs (2) (or pullovers) Shoulders - press behind neck (3), military press (2), lateral raises (2), front raises (1), bent-ocer raises (2). ![]() ![]() ![]() For overall upperbody width, I'd say the pull-up is the best...it's what will really give you the nice V-taper. For arm thickness, focus on triceps...pressdowns, behind the head presses, etc. For biceps peak I really like lying cable curls. I place a flat bench under a cable that has a short bar in a rotating cuff. I lay down on the bench and curl the bar towards my forehead. This exercise really stresses the muscle while it fully contracted, which is great for peak. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() If you want that wider body look then look to build your shoulders. If you look at most bodybuilders there waist isn't that small, but there shoulders give the perception of a narrow waist and wide body. Lats wil also help in giving you that look. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() My first time here and everyone seems to have good replies. Dont forget the legs. You will look funny with tiny little legs, but training legs also helps you gain overall mass. IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Samuel, I think you are right on the mark. Most people seem to forget the big movements when trying to gain mass. I myself made this same mistake years ago, but I can tell you, deadlifts power cleans and squats are the best thing you can do for your body (if done correctly). IP: Logged |

![]() ![]() ![]() Concentrate on good breathing during each of the above lifts. Exhale dufing the lifting phase. It expands the rib cage. Gives you a thick look. You do have to do lower body as well, it makes other muscles stronger. IP: Logged |
