I am a 16 year old male that would like to know what would be a good rep range for me to use and a total number of sets to do on the bench press. I have been training for a year and a half now. thanks

To train you chest you want to do 3-4 sets of 3-4 exercises (as a beginner) in the rep range 8-12 (perhaps do 12,10,8). Just do bench press will do give you the best results. I prefer to do incline pressing to really build up my upper chest. If you work your lower chest too much (which is what flat pressing can do) you get a big lower chest and your pecs look like breasts. Try doing: Incline press, seated hammer press and incline fly's.
